So after much researching and a bit of experimentation I think I've got it. Please feel free to use this recipe for your own master pieces. If any modifications might be needed then by all means practice carefully and let me know what you've done to achieve better results.

    Recipe for Disaster Reanimation

    Tools and Supplies

    1. Supply Table (to hold tools and supplies until they are ready for use)
    2. Silver Tray with minimal salt water to cover the bottom (to hold the removed rib)
    3. The Capsule (the body to which is to be reanimated)
    4. The Alter (a place on which to work on the capsule)
    5. Embalming Tools (to cut the wrists and ankles and throat of the capsule)
    6. A Golden Urn of salt water (for sterilization of daggers and tools)
    7. Incents or flowers (to draw out the soul from the gem)
    8. A Ritual Knife or dagger with a white bone hilt (to draw blood)
    9. Sacrificial Blood (the smarter the being it came from the more intelligent the subject)
    10. A Soul (preferably the one belonging to the body to be resurrected) Black Soul Gems in case of Dragon Priests and Daedric Rituals
    11. An amulet or medallion owned by the capsule (to be worn by the necromancer. This enforces the Master / Slave roles)
    12. 5 Silver Bowls (4 to hold the incents and 1 for the blood)
    13. Crushed bone powder to mix with the blood (mix blood in a silver bowl with a silver embalming tool)
    14. A statue or shrine and a prayer to the god(s) that the dead had worshipped
    15. Candles (to warm the blood)
    16. A crow to bring the soul of the deceased back from the land of the dead (in the case of achieving Lichdom) the crow will die upon success

    The table is set with:

    • Golden Urn
      • Salt water
        • Sterile embalming tools
        • Sterile Ritual Knife
    • Sacrificial Blood
    • Black Soul Gem
    • Incents or Flowers
    • 5 Silver Bowls

    The Ritual:

    • The Alter
      • Place the shrine of the capsules God(s) on the alter above the capsules head
      • Place 5 near the corners of the alter and one at the foot end of the alter
      • Place the incents or flowers in the 4 silver bowls of salt water and place above the candles at the corners of the Alter
      • Place the Capsule on the Alter hands and feet bound to the corners
      • Move the candle at the foot of the alter up to knee height of the capsule
      • Take sterile embalming knife and cut open the capsules chest.
      • Take sterile embalming saw and break open the rib cage
      • Take sterile embalming forceps and break away one lower rib
      • Place rib in salt water filled silver tray on the supply table
      • Take blood and pour into the last silver bowl
      • place the silver bowl containing the blood over the candle between the capsules spread legs
      • Rinse rib in salt water.
    • Use embalming tool to crush the rib
      • Use embalming scrapper to remove bone marrow.
      • Place Marrow into mortar and use pistol to work into a paste
      • Empty contents of Mortar into the Silver bowl containing the sacrificial blood
      • Use sterile ritual knife to mix the contents of Blood and Marrow
    • Use the same ritual knife to cut the ankles, wrists and neck (not the throat) of the capsule
    • Place the Black Soul Gem within the capsules chest cavity
    • Light the 5 candles upon the Alter to warm the blood and draw the soul from the Black Soul Gem
    • Pour warmed sacrificial blood / marrow mixture over the cuts of the ankles, wrists and throat of the capsule
      • Pour remaining mixture over the soul gem within the chest cavity.
    • Say a prayer to the God(s) (will have to research a prayer and convert it to the Old Tongue)
    • Wait. If after a moons turn there is no sign of life, you should check your translation of the prayer to the Old Tongue as a simple mispronunciation can foul your efforts.

NOTE: The wearer of the amulet is the master of the reanimated capsule. Under no circumstances is the reanimated capsule to possess the trinket as the reanimated capsule will need to be put down, destroying your hard work.

Most effective ingredients for incents. Most can be found in caves and ruins.

    • Namira's Rot
    • Blisterwort
    • Hanging Moss
    • Glowing Mushroom

Instructions for Preperation On a bed of Hanging Moss place dried Namira's Rot and dried Blisterwort in to the silver bowl. Once the Salt Water begins to steam place the Glowing Mushroom on top.

Quick question, Okan. When to stories get linked to this page?

Topic list all discussion tagged "#long"

Is there a prerequisite? Certain number of likes?

    Thanks in advance.

I can answer this one. In short Lissette, they don't. Blog posts aren't added to the #Long tag. Your TOC page is. The Tags you could add to your actual blogs are more or less down to you. I use U.O.T.W. and Sotek for my Blog posts.

Your TOC Page has the #Long tab. Then you add links from each Blog Post to it. (You do that already. that bits for others who aren't sure).

Here's a link you might find usefull.      Start here!

I appologise, I should have directed you to here at the begining when you first started posting your blogs.

I don't think you quite understand my question. I will rephrase, when does my TOC get linked to that page that I linked to. If it does at all. Do you understand what I'm asking?

Obviously, I am updating my TOC and doing my blog stuff correctly because I know you, you would have pointed out an error by now. I know its the not the stories that are linked to that page, but the TOC, my bad for not phrasing my original question correctly.

My TOC has the #long tag and my initials.

Your TOC looks like its on there. Did you figure it out? I don't see a problem anymore.

LOL, it's there now, but I swear on Alduin's backside, it wasn't there before.

All is good now.  Thanks for accepting the friend request.

I’m rapidly approaching a possible slight snag regarding my TOC page. As such I thought I’d ask for other people’s ideas and solutions if indeed there is a problem. It may be that people feel it's fine to just keep adding chapters. Here's a link to my TOC so you can see where I'm coming from. (I’m not adding this to get likes so please don’t go liking my TOC).

     Union Of The Wolf

Currently I have a list of 33 chapters which I’m adding to every other day or so. The TOC page chapters will end up in the hundreds which is a hell of a long list to go through.

    Possible solutions so far are…

    1. Double or even triple the chapters making them far larger. This I feel would have a negative effect on my story as it wasn't designed or written for chapters to be added together. (Cliff hangers and the like)

    2. Investigate the possibility of breaking up the list into books or acts then add links to each book from my TOC. This may mean checking on the possibility of a blog of links which probably won't be allowed for obvious reasons.

    3. Carry on adding chapters regardless of TOC length and chapter list.

I’m open to suggestions on a workaround to prevent ending up with a TOC which has over 300 chapters. Unless like I stated that people don't see an issue there what so ever and I'm concerning myself with nothing.

As is my usual statement, this is open to everyone to comment on.

I am also curious about what others propose, as my work, while not as large as Sotek's, does also have its fair share of chapters.

This issue hasn't really been encountered before, though I know I've thought of it.

I think at this point the best we can do is see what solutions people choose to come up with. You're free to organize your chapters in whatever way you deem fit.
