Hello there! Currently I am writing about a world post-Skyrim, of how a mercenary is brought in to assist the Volkihar in gaining power as well as Blades members who wish to not only gain Dragon Priest relics but resurrect them in worship of Akatosh. I'm not sure though if the fixation on dragon priests would seem too ridiculous. Although it focuses on 'what if a priest tried to emplace a theocratic government over a city', I wasn't sure if it seemed over the line.

The Blades don't worship Akatosh, but even if they did, the Dragon Priests are worshipers of dragons (the things the Blades hate more than anything), so I don't think that pairing would work really well. Is this story about the same mercenary involved in both of these plots?

Sorry that was mumbled on my part.

Certain members of the Blades are worshippers, using the group (who are trying to find and destroy relics) to find and resurrect Dragon Cult masks and Priests. I thought though that the priests worshipped Akatosh since the dragons were the 'sons' of Akatosh.

And no, the mercenary story is separate.

Ah, that makes more sense. I don't think the Dragon Cult was connected with Akatosh, but you might check that in the lore group, but I could see someone using trying to use the Blades to get at dragon artifacts.

Ah, Alduin was their stand-in for Akatosh as their dragon god. Similar to how Odin's legends were changed to mirror the death of Jesus Christ to assimilate norsemen to Christianity.

So using the Blades, these rogue members would resurrect other dragon priests (There were others besides the eight Skyrim leaders. Would it be safe to assume there were lesser priests under those with masks?)

Yes. You can counter a few maskless priests in Skyrim.

You could take some RL examples of Scandinavian, Gmernaic, and Old English poetry. Beowulf as an example.

I don't quite know if this is the right place to ask but I'm kinda stuck. I've looked on the internet and can't seem to find anyting relevant to my problem with this paragrath.

The bandit dropped his bow which hit the stone ground making a large thump. Sotek glanced across to the other bandit, but luckily he was still sitting there. If he had heard anything, he certainly didn’t react. He didn’t bother looking up what so ever. Even when Sotek picked up the bow and recovered some arrows from the dead archer, he didn’t move. When an arrow was sent towards him, he didn’t even flinch.

Is it me, or is the word 'Didn't' overused here? I count 4 times. I'm looking for any ideas of other words I can use.

    Sotek. Loyal Hound Of Hircine

If he had heard anything, he certainly didn’t react. He didn’t bother looking up what so ever. Even when Sotek picked up the bow and recovered some arrows from the dead archer, the second bandit made no indication that he was aware of Sotek's presence. When an arrow was sent towards him, he didn’t even flinch.

Thanks for the suggestion. That's far better.
