Just a question. What weapon do you use before you get the Ebony Blade, as it is Level locked at 20.

Honestly, I started off with bows and got the Bound Bow very early from Fort Amol (was tricky, but doable). I had perked heavily in Archery through Faendal, so I used it as my mainstay till I could get the blade.

I still carried a Skyforge Steel greatsword, steel greatsword before that, and iron before that. Basically whenever I found something better, I ran with it. Training up with Faendal and Pickpocketing non-follower trainers levels you up so quickly though, that you get the ebony blade pretty soon :)

If you're desperate to get the ebony blade asap I believe the plate glitch that lets you walk through walls works on the room it's contained in. 

I've never plate glitched. I really do need to try that sometime... if only to say that I have ;D

I used it once to escape the prison in Solitude.

They both still work, it's just a cabinet has been placed behind the whispering door that prevents the player from glitching through.

Ebony Blade, MFD, unarmored samurai, bound bow... Seriously, this is like my dream. And very well presented too.
