The concept of nethermancy immediately drew me to that build, but your use of magic and Two-handed was the icing on the cake for me :D

Right back at ya Jin. When I saw this pop up as a HGS I had to make sure I gave it a like.

Did you change the name? I seem to remember reading it before.. or was it another that has the same theme... No matter. :-) This is cool. I dont really liked how it turned up ( mixing in conjuration and all) but hey, its your build. I like the concept though. Have you tried this without flesh spells? I think it can be done, despite the low enchantment of the ebony blade (unless, of course, you are morally insane). The sweep perk makes up for the low absorb. +1

Nope, no name changes... must have been a different build. Ronin/samurai builds run the risk of looking the same (which is part of the reason I opted for Conjuration--mix it up a bit) :)

This build is playable without Alteration. Block helps with that, but your real heroes are the summoned atronachs--they get a lot of attention so you can flank enemies and start wailing away. You'll want to watch out for higher level draugr with ebony bows and arrows, however. You take one of those in the back, and you feel it :D

Congrats on the spotlight, this definitely deserves it :)

I'm glad this build was showcased; I had missed it. Sweet build.

Thanks! BTW, I enjoyed the latest installment of your Outsider series... it was nice to see something posted again :)

Why, thanks RR! It was a fun play through. It was nice of Oneness to feature it... with so many good builds coming through, it's easy to fall through the cracks :)

Glad this got spotlighted, I would never have seen it otherwise, it is brilliant. Finally a use for the Ebony Blade, I love that sword.

I know! I really like that blade as well, but it came with such a long list of "dang-its" that it almost seemed like Bethesda was purposely mocking katana lovers. James really opened the door for a lot of "unplayable" weapons with his Marked for Death article :)
