I roll vanilla, so I was hesitant to include items in my write-up that I didn't actually use, but the DLC really does open up a whole world of aesthetics that beautifully fit the build... cultist gear being among the best ;)

Cultist gear is just the perfect fit between a mage and a Sai-Murai. it's the middle term

My current character combines The Ebony Blade, Miraaks Robes and Dragon Aspect, reminds me a lot of this build... and ohh-boy I like it! +1 from me

like this build . i put my own touch on this guy and made him into kojiro sasaki from the samurai warriors games since the ebony blade is basicaly a Nodachi and thats the sword he used as well. Plus i can make him look the same almost using telvani robes, thalmor boots and the gilded bracers. i took out conjuration and archery and adding to his speech,two handed,and block trees

Sounds sweet... I love the Speech tree, and would have liked to perk it more fully. Block, of course, is always awesome; if you get the Quick Reflexes perk and a single word for Slow Time, you can spam the shout right at the end of the Quick Reflexes slowdown. It extends the duration of the shout for upwards of a real-time minute. The cooldown is often over by the time the effects wear off. Wish I would have known about that when I made the build... it fits in quite nicely with a ronin/samurai build ;D

When the build is finished you just want to throw up because of how awesome it is. (*O*)
