Alright, Tae, let's settle down. ^^'
I for one sympathize with Gloom's concerns. We don't need to make a new group, per se, but it would be nice to have a more specialized alternative for critiques.
I've just posted a discussion with an idea. Check it out, if you want, and tell me what you think of it.

Adding sub-categories to the workshop could work. Have a CB and a TT section, then post a link to it on the Tamriel Tales home page.
So far I've only used the WS once to help brainstorm some ideas on how to get past an event I was stuck on and I found it helpful. I noticed most people tend to send PM's directly to someone(s) to get feedback, I'm not sure how much of this is because they don't want to spoil their story for the general public or because there isn't a good environment for posting such.

All right, that happened. First of all I'm sorry for causing this gigantic shitstorm, And to be honest I was quite surprised to see all of this when I woke up this morning. Before I clarify what I meant in my OP I think it might be better to point a few things out:
So now that that's out of the way, let's get back to my suggestion.
I have been writing short paragraphs lately to hone my skills as a writer, they are often disconnected from my novel or any work I've planned for this group or it's post-apocalypse counterpart. It are basicly just snippets of text with a certain theme, as I said: descriptions, openings, final paragraphs and the like. And I was thinking that it might be a fun thought to organise something similar for the group. But in the form of a challenge of some kind
By this I mean that I would like to create a thread, similar to the writer's discuss pages, where writer's could show how they approach certain parts of their prose, or certain situations given in at the start of the thread, however instead of discussing the subject, they would have to write a paragraph (not necessarily related to their works). And have feedback on the technical aspect of the written paragraph for example. I would also link a few articles assertaining to the treated subject so that each writer could have a look at them before posting and consider how they want to approach it.
Here's an example:
-----------------------------------------------------------
Titel of the whole thing: Subject (let's say description)
Useful links:
Small introductional text
A list of the challenges:
-------------------------
As said before all of the above is an example, but I would really like to know what you guys think of this, however as I think I have caused enough cluttering of the Help thread I would suggest putting your opinion over here:

I've read a couple cross-overs and enjoyed them. One even mixed in anime, the fights got so ridiculous overpowered, but they were written well. So they do exist and you have a lot of leeway in what you write, although readers reaction vary dramatically. I couldn't tell you the stats of yeas vs nays for lore breaking stories though. What I personally look for: Is the story well thought out? Are the setting & world rules consistent? Do the characters feel real? So cross-overs can qualify for me
