My story, U.O.T.W. Has several elements of Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim all mixed in together if that is what you are referring to. Sotek and the pack will actually travel across Morrowind itself to a camp north of VOS. (North east morrowind map) from Seyda Neen. (South west(ish) on map) as well as visit and complete variouse quests in Morrowind and Cyrodiil.

What did you have in mind?

Well I was thinking more of a crossover between Elder Scrolls and another fantasy universe. I have an idea about the races of Malazan universe invading Mundus.

Races? Well, I would certainly imagine gods of the Deck of Dragons invading Tamriel. Just imagine that. Some weak and distant Eight, mortal with magic that can barely set a house on fire...it would be slaughter. Man, Karsa Orlong alone would conquer Tamriel

I have a scene in my head of a giant black and silver dragon fighting Alduin

I was reading the group rules and an interesting thought came to me. If someone were to write a epic as long as or longer than Homer' s Illiad, would that be classified as a poem, a long story, or both?

I think for the sake of things, we would classify it as a long story. Unless you want to put a Homer's Illiad length poem in a single post.

Hi all, I've been a long time fan and lurker here at Tamriel Vault - so much great content! I recently joined the site, primarily as an outlet for a piece of related fiction I've been working on. Although I have contributed to other (non TES) sites in the past, I've never delved into the world of fan fiction beyond reading. Anyway, a seed of an idea for a piece of personal in-game role play has now ballooned into several chapters of material. Frankly, I'm a bit annoyed by it...I can't seem to stop adding to the story! I've read the instructions for posting, but have a question: I have a TOC prepared, and an edited prologue. If I post both, will that violate the "one post every 24 hours" rule? If so, should I just post in order, or is there another suggestion? Thanks in advance!

No it won't. The reason is because you post the TOC as a discussion here in Tamriel Tales, but post the prologue as a Blog Post.

OK, that makes sense now. Thanks!

    Greetings,

I'm sure this has been covered already, but I haven't been able to quickly find it, so I'll ask myself. I really enjoy very focused, role-playing Youtube Let's Plays of Skyrim and games like it, and I'd love to make one myself - but I don't have the computer power to record at decent quality, so that's off the table. Still, I'd like to do something similar, because I think it'd really help me enjoy playing a character more to be recording their adventures, thoughts, etc., whether I'm recording through video or writing.

So my question is, would a kind of written Let's Play with a focus on character be something that would have a home here? Complete with screenshots and such, because I like doing that kind of thing. Probably third person rather than first, although I could do either.

    Thanks!
