I'm inclined to disagree. If it we're a legitimate series with writing as a rather main focus, it could be posted as a blog... then again, I'd wait for input from Sotek or Okan before you decide.

Oh....ok, thank you for your replies and also another follow up question, has anyone tried to make a legitimate comic series for skyrim or even for fallout, I'm very curious?

I'm sure they exist...Not on this site but I have no doubt you could hunt one down off-site.

Personally I think they could work either in the Art Group, or possibly even better as a Photo Album, that would make a better layout I think.

I know other people have done it but not on this site.

So I've actually been thinking of starting my own story lately, but I'm not really sure where to start planning it, or writing it. I've got a few main problems that I'd like to get a little advice on.

    1. I have no idea how to write characters... Either on paper or in the story itself. My general experience with writing is short, 600 word creative tasks that just don't have room for character development (or introduction sometimes) so I have no idea how to go about it.
    2. What are some recommended chapter lengths on the Vault? Other sites I tend to read on vary a fair bit (anywhere from 1500-10000) so I'm not to sure where I should begin. I was thinking at somewhere around 1000, but I'm not really sure.
    3. How on earth do I start... So far I'm just at a complete loss on where and how to start (I felt that Helgan was a safe, if somewhat boring start) and how to plan out my story.

Try doing a short story, maybe use an old backstory draft from one of your builds and make out a story. Then,if you think you're ready, try expanding the character of that short story into a long one.

Honestly,I always planned of making a story since my mind is always filled with fan-fic but just can't find the right way to turn it into a story.

Hmm, that's a pretty good idea Axius, I was kind of originally planning a series of linked short stories so that could really work. Though, I won't say no to any other tips that people could give me, especially in regards to Characters.

Hello. I don't know if I'm just blind cause I can't seem to find my draft after I saved it. How does drafting work?

Drafting  keeps a copy of your blog post without adding it to the posted list.

It's easy to get it back.

1 click on Add a Blog Post

2 At the top of the page you will have an option to Edit Blog Posts. This will give you a list of your posts including any drafts. I seriously do not recommend that you delete anything from here. It would be too easy to delete the wrong post.

To edit a post including drafts all you need to do is click on them to open them up. Then you can delete, rework or even post as a full blog.

Feel free to ask for more help.

Thanks. I got my draft back.

Last question. Is it better to put my drafts in the workshop?
