    That's a great video Mason, it really shows off the power of The Razor and Slow Time

    Can you remind me mate which seven perks you would have needed to take to sneak in heavy armour without the Steed Stone? I'm guessing to achieve the same result as that you'd need Fists of Steel, Cushioned and Conditioning from the Heavy Armour tree and Muffled Movement, Silent Roll, Light Foot and Silence from the Sneak tree. Is that right?

    Thanks Phil, yep that's right. Steed stones major benefit is in the heavy armor tree because taking those first two perks to get conditioning breaks my heart every time. Being weightless is better than the muffled movement perk and by the time the silence perk becomes available you no longer need to hush the tiny bit of noise you do make, I found it better to invest in the chameleon perks instead (stealth 5/5).

    The way you could literally stand in front of those deathlords and shoot away without them seeing you was amazing! I've never taken all five stealth ranks but this truly shows them in all their glory. Chameleon is the perfect description. I have to try this for myself.

    Thanks for clarifying that Mace

    I'm with Samjt here, never having maxed out Sneak or explored the perks. I think this build mixes things up nicely with the option of tanking with sword and board if the sneaking gets old.

    Edit: Any chance you could put in all your special moves in a video? For some reason I want to see Darksider in action!

    It gets pretty crazy, I'd really like someone with some decent pc knowledge to take a second look at those stealth perks to see if they are actually better than advertised...

    At one point I hoarded a couple of perk points and then ran tests with 1/5 stealth and 3/5 stealth on a Briarheart and noticed a pretty big difference (felt better than the 10% bonus I was supposed to be getting anyway).

    I suspect they may have been mislabled like the block perks.

    @Phil

    Ha! Once I find a decent video editing program I'll find a victim for darksider (I think poor Golldir would have resisted it by the time I got to him).

    Yes, I now don't perk stealth at all to keep it challenging

    Thanks Jo, it looks a little heavy for what I need but I'll check it out...

    !!!FLIPPIN' SHIELD OF PEERLESS BLOCKING!!! Took well over an hour to spin that one up, but we eventually got it--I say 'we' because half my kids were right there the entire time... "Omigosh! It's a shield; it's a shield... firewalker AGAIN!?!" I finally had the minions take over--"Daddy's getting something to eat. Let me know if you roll it up." Best sentence ever: "I... I got it! Dad! Come here! I got it! I got it! Quick, save it before something happens!" (like a dragon was going to fly up through the floor and one-shot me, or terrorists were going to detonate an EMP bomb to wipe it away--all the same, I hit f5 pretty quick). A testament to the awesomeness of this build: I am finally playing a vampire. In fact, after two years of playing this game, I'm doing a slew of things I've never done before... Dark Brotherhood, getting Namira's ring, necromancy, and even though it doesn't fit the roleplay all that well, I'm joining the stormcloaks too (if I'm going to burn, I figure I might as well find the hottest corner of hell that I can :)) It's been a blast so far, and even though vanilla vampirism is kind of a hassle, it's a fun roleplay. Enjoyed the vid BTW

    Hahaaaa! Pain in the ass when things won't spawn isn't it... Glad you enjoyed the vid, it took me days and I got tangled in all the cables!

    I always enjoyed vanilla vampirism, used to like having to sniff out blood bags before the whole town turned on me...
