in the topic Most anticipated game of 2017 in the forum General Gaming
Matt Feeney said: I've played a few hours and the combat was loads of fun. I used a Soldier for that sexy slow-mo. I'm a bit hesitant to complete it because A.) I'm missing a lot of (apparently vital) DLC that never goes on sale and B.) I'm playing on the 360 and ME2/ME3 require two discs. In linear games, this isn't much of an issue, but if I want to visit an early planet in ME2, I need disc 1. Other planets require disc 2. So I'm gonna get the trilogy on PC and just start over. Not a huge deal, but the DLC will still be a pain to get. I'll get there eventually, Vaz ;) And I agree, Vampyr looks pretty interesting. in case you didn't know, the developers, Dontnod Entertainment, also made Remember Me, which is something of a brawler as well. You might enjoy that and it might give you a taste of what to expect from Vampyr, but there's no guarantee. After Remember Me, they made Life is Strange, which is an episodic, story-based game (like Telltale games), so they haven't been a one-note developer thus far. Agreed 100%. An edition with all DLCs is long overdue if you ask me! I was debating on whether to try Remember Me or not, but I didn't know it was made by the same team :)

ME Andromeda!! Been waiting for years for this game! Then - Vampyr. The gameplay they showed looked quite interesting! Matt, you absolutely need to play ME2. It's almost universally regarded as the best in the series. Combat is much improved there and it has one of the most epic sequences in gaming :)

in the topic What is your Gameplay/Roleplay Mentality? (Elder Scrolls Games / in the forum General Gaming
    1. Do you have that 'stereotype'-like attitude that is present in every playstyle? No glitches is pretty much the only thing I keep in common for my characters. 2. Do you (fully) adapt to the typical playstyle of a build or class? I create my own playstyle. Isn't that what the building is about? 3. Do you (always have to) try to add to a build/class? I try to create a unique playstyle I haven't tried. Given that I have tried a lot of playstyles, my tries usually end up either with nothing or a new build  4. Do you have an addiction to a certain way of playing classes or builds? I have to work hard not to include Alchemy in all the characters I play  5. (If so,) Does it enhance, decrease or even help your gameplay/roleplay experience? I work hard but manage to stay away from certain gameplay elements that always try to sneak their way into my builds

in the topic Fallout or Elder Scrolls? in the forum General Gaming
Well, I'd go for both. Fallout for its focus on survival and dialogue which Skyrim only achieves when heavily modded or not at all. Skyrim, for the sheer freedom it gives when creating characters, both in gameplay and roleplay potential Fallout is more rigid.  Overall, I tend to jump between the two.

Masser and Secunda were already high up in the sky when the caravan reached the weathered stone walls of Helgen. Scrag was running raising small clouds of fine grey ash which was covering the ground of a dark forest with dead withered trees sticking up like eerie scarecrows. • Wizard's Servant - Chapter 1-2 - A New Dawn

Sun rays were finding their way through the dense green foliage of the pine forest right in Scrag's eyes as he was lying on his back in a carriage, slightly rocking along a paved road to Falkreath. He tried to shift but an excruciating pain made him to instantly regret that decision. His face felt l...

  • Wizard's Servant - Chapter 1-1 - A New Dawn

    Posted August 8, 2013

The sun was rising over the plains of Whiterun, coloring the dawn sky in vivid orange colors. Gentle and almost magical Luna Moths were starting to hide, and chirring of cicadas was being replaced with twittering of little birds – surprisingly plentiful in the harsh climate of Skyrim. Deer, rabbits...
