I'm definitely a vamp and it's working fine Stephen...

The thing is that I've never had it happen on any of my other characters and I've done the Gauldur questline countless times because I enjoy it...

The only thing I can think of that's a major difference with this character is the Steed Stone, are you using it yet?

Go and try an Amulet of Talos as well, that's what I'm currenty wearing on my save...

Yep, off the top of my head cause I'm at work is: I am a dunmer vamp, level 27 with Steed stone and full armor. Hmmm, maybe I'm doing it wrong. I'll check it out again when I get home. Either way, it would be an added bonus: I play on expert and the revival armor and namira ring is enough regen so the necklace is an open spot as far as I'm concerned!

    Try this as well...

In order to use this you need to pick up the Gauldur Amulet, equip it, and then equip the next necklace. If you unequip the Gauldur Amulet it won't work. If you do, you need to drop it, pick it up, re-equip it, and equip the next necklace. It seems to only work with the Gauldur Amulet but there could be others...

Nope, still not working. I hear it's fickle though. Ah well. Killer build anyway. Easily a favorite for the evil factor

I say if you want to play as a Khajiit freakin' go for it. Play the game the way YOU want to play it.

Nice Presentation as always... though i have a question... I was under the impression that daedric armor is daedric due to the dremora heart it requires. The source of the soul is regardless, since beth has made soul trapping conjured atronachs and dremora lords not possible in skyrim. That means, your only "constant" source of deadric hearts is the re-spawns at shrine of mehrunes dagon.

Other than which, is the quest, azura's star. These are the only 2 places in which i can think which possess dremora lords i think.

I was just trying to talk about the lore of daedric armor as a whole rather than the skyrim mechanics. And some of it was my own speculation. I still think the morrowind description was the most epic...

"Daedric weapons are made from raw ebony which has been refined using the craft and magical substances of the lesser minions of Oblivion. The process is not a pleasant one for the Daedra involved, and the weapons retain echoes of preternaturally prolonged suffering endured during manufacture. Daedric weapons are the most rare and expensive weapons known in Tamriel."

What I found really interesting is that Sigil Stones are unique to the Daedric Lord that 'signs' it, meaning that a sigil stone signed by azura could cause completely different results at the forge...

Just shop alchemists, they pop up all the time...

Nice... I would then think that Dawnbreaker is subject to this theory, considering it's a deadric weapon... same with sanguine rose (did i mention that he's my second fav daedric lord? I don't think I need to mention who's my most fav yeah? it's kinda reflected in most of my builds)

However, given the description above from oblivion, that would then make either the properties of the atronach forge a separate process (ie: meaning atronach forge and description in oblivion are completely different ways of obtaining the same equipment) or a joke, considering the description in oblivion requires the essence of a lesser daedra.... atronach forge just reequires the heart and the essence of a soul from nirn (think soul gem).

imo, 2 completely different properties... the fact that all souls trapped in the soul gems eventually go to th soul cairn to be fodder for the ideal masters, should be vast apart from the daedras that roam the realms of oblivion. The again, this is just my opinion on the matter.
