if you go with the dawnguard, you can have the same things as with the volkihar, and better weapons and also you dont have to do that annoying Bloodstone chalice quest. if you make a new build you can always just make a junky build.

    Junky Build?

I really like this build. I am trying to create a look similar to the image you posted since I kind of see how the vibes of the picture fit with this build. I am thinking of using some combination of Vampire Armor and Steel Plate, or maybe Dawnguard with a Shrouded Hood, or Scaled pieces. Any suggestions?

Found the perfect look: Since my character is Argonian I have the glitched-out Ancient Shrouded Cowl, which can be worn with anything else and give me +35% Archery.

So my gear is like this:

    - Ancient Shrouded Cowl (Archery +35%)

    - Linwe's Hood (Archery +15%)

    - unenchanted white Vampire Armor

    - unenchanted Steel Plate Gauntlets

    - unenchanted Steel Plate Boots

    - Ring of Peerless Archery

    - Necromancer's Amulet

My archery is through the roof right now, and the look is pretty close to the picture I was inspired by. Check it out, I took a picture of my screen just so you can see the idea, hopefully someone can do a nice PC screen-cap if they try this armor out for the Cryptwalker:

The best build on the site, IMO.just wondering, would making a Daedric Bow at the Atronach forge so that I could enchant it be a good idea, or should I just stick to the Bound Bow?

You'll get more damage out of the Daedric one with proper arrows, and Smithing to improve it.  Without Smithing, you're generally better off with the Bound one, because it has unlimited ammo, and weighs nothing, but you should have a solid backup in case you have to recast when you don't have enough Magicka.  The Bound bow also lets you auto-equip any single handed item, or spell in the other hand (Except the Bound Sword.)  Whatever is there drops into inventory when you cast the bow, and instantly re-appears whenever you sheathe, or it times out.  The only other thing this trick works with is the Bound battleaxe, which I found to be much less optimal.

    Great build! I love it.

I notice that you say that cryptstalkers live in dungeons. But you make no mention of good dungeons for the cryptstaker to reside. A good place would be Frostmere crypt, after defeating the pale lady of course.

I found four dungeons with safe storage, Arcane Enchanter and Alchemy Lab: Anise's Cabin (don't know if this counts), Darklight Tower, Nightcaller Temple and Southfringe Sanctum. Other ones with just an Alchemy Lab are: Harmugstahl, The Midden, Mistwatch, Potema's Catacombs, Rannveig's Fast (personal favourite), Saarthal and Valthume. Frost, ere Crypt has safe storage but there isn't an Alchemy Lab or Arcane Enchanter, so it wouldn't be optimum. Yes, I have played this build a lot and have spent hours finding the best dungeons to live in with safe storage.

Very well thought out, I can see a lot of hard work was put into this +1
