Go with Dread zombie over dead thrall because zombies don't sneak and will give away your position. The idea is that you kill an enemy from the shadows, raise his corpse, then work with your minion to overcome the other people. Based on your brief descriptions, Summon wrathmen over dread zombie. However, if it is weaker than one of the npc's, then kill the stongest npc, raise it from the dead and work with it to kill the others. I don't have Dawnguard yet (PC) but once I play the game and get to know the wrathmen a bit better I'll give you an answer.

In dawnguard there are 3 summons you get from the Soul Cairn. Boneman=archer Mistman=mage/magic Wrathman= 2-handed heavy warrior All are technically undead just not necromancy

So are they affected by the Necromancy perks?

I honestly don't know, it's not a atronoch, but I think it works like the summon Dragon Priest or Dremora Lord, a.k.a it's not affected by any perks except twin souls, but since their undead, maybe they might be affected.

I will admit that I drew some inspiration from your demon hunter Build, but i wanted it to be a hybrid Warrior/assassin, so it is fundamentally different. Would you like me to write a thanks to you in the conclusion?

Absolutely not! Had you not just told me yourself, I'd have never guessed you drew inspiration for this build from mine, to be honest. It's definitely unique enough in its own right that I deserve no more credit than you've already given me in the comment section here, and even that's too much. Like I said earlier, in fact, I see more in common with my Nightblade build which relies on the swift deaths of dagger stealth attacks to set up his necromancy. And no that's not me asking for credit in your conclusion on that build either! =P I just think we think alike, and since we're the only non-Ponty-Masons to have a Legendary build under our belts, dare I say it means that great minds do just that? ;)

Haha I actually thought you said that about my other build, the Akaviri Hunter, as I designed this one up on my own, but drew inspiration from your demon hunter for the Akaviri Hunter.
