Love the use of the Aetherial Shield, I was actually recently trying to think of a few ways it could be used in a build. I agree that it is highly underrated, as melee enemies only attack you if you let them. Definitely added to my ever-growing list of builds to try out, +1

Awesome build Henson, I was wondering when someone would put that shield to use. The only thing I wanted to point out is that crossbows with power shot do not stagger 100% of the time, It's more like 75% from what I've seen.

Marked for Death seems to work a bit differently from other DoT effects. If you haven't tested it, it's worth trying.
I love the build, Henson. Cool special moves, cool concept, great execution. I do have a couple of disputes. I'd definitely disagree with your claim that frost magic is the most effective of the three elements; if anything, I'd say it's the *least* effective element in Skyrim: it is resisted by undead, Dwemer automatons, and most high level animals (mammoths, giants, giant frostbite spiders, snowy sabre cats, snow bears, frost trolls, etc.). The slow/paralyze effects are cool to be sure, and I love the spell aesthetics, but it's really only useful against Falmer and human enemies, and since this guy is going to be doing a lot of cave diving, that means he's going to be facing a lot more undead and automatons than humans. Not saying frost isn't viable, just that I'd contest your claim that it's the most effective element.
Also, I noticed one small mistake: under your second image, you say that the shield affects everything except dragons, then in the next sentence you list dragons as one of the creatures it affects.
These things aside, I think it's a fantastic build, mate. Love the utility you get out of an underused artifact, love the use of Dukaan (I've been searching for a good aesthetic to use those masks myself), and you have a great write-up to boot. Also, anyone who knocks Sneak + Heavy Armor has never tried it. It's one of my favorite ways to play the game. The weight/movement/noise/stamina penalties can all be negated so easily if you pick up a few simple buffs, or approach each situation with a decent strategy.

I've just tested the Marked for Death and the shield bash stops it's effects. However after the enemy returns to his normal state the effect resumes

Oh man, hardcore typo with the dragon thing. I guessed I meant to type something else and had dragons on the brain haha. Thanks for that catch.
I am glad you like it! I think what I meant with frost as being the most effective is in the essence of this build. It also is a nod towards Ice Storm dealing ridiculous amounts of damage to a lot of enemies, even if enemies resist it.

Agreed to that, it seems like 2 separate checks, like 50 chance, if fails another 50. If that fails, Bulseye or paralize chance Or were those b4 the others?
Other than that, verry nice. Strangely u inspired me to perseu my own build.
O wel, thats so strange I give my like.

Similar to a style I mentioned on another build a while ago, using ethereal shout plus this shield in combo with the new ash shell spells to phase you and your enemies in and out of reality. It's extremely effective combat style and I admit it is incredibly fun for a while, but I found the style to get incredibly monotonous after the novelty wears off. I haven't used shields much but I wager this shield will be incredibly difficult for anyone that does use block a lot to get used to, basically a sword and board warrior that can't use bash to stagger enemies and kill them.
This shield certainly isn't for everyone but it has its moments.
