Yeah I don't blame you Perma is buggy as hell, that and I find the combat too easy, even with difficulty mods. Skyre is the only mod for me.

I don't really get how Perma's buggy. Since this is a character build and not a mod review, I'll try to keep this short. Perma's basically a million times better than SkyRe, especially its patcher and how it handles extra mods. I've played about 100hrs with it and god knows how many hours testing it over the last 8 months as part of the Alpha/Beta groups. In that time, I've gotten fewer crashes, fewer scripting errors, and haven't had a modding migraine once, and the only thing that's changed in my load order has been swapping SkyRe for Perma.

I haven't played much of Perma, a few hours at the most, so I don't know much about the mod. I had very few problems with Skyre so I will have to take your word for it on Perma.

I feel like I'm the only person who hasn't played this.

What would be the most fitting player home (if any)?

Try the Morthal home, I used that home for my Demonhunter. It is isolated, out in the wilderness, and frequently attacked by vampires and bandits (at least for me it was). It seems to fit the dark and brooding vampire slayer I roleplayed as.

Hello everyone! Just got back from a long Skyrim break, with my computer dying and my weekly D&D sessions I haven't much time to play. So finally figured out what I will be playing: Wood Elf Demon Hunter with no magic skills for Roleplay reasons, skills will be Archery for crossbows, Smithing for armor, weapons and traps, Light Armor for protection and speed, Alchemy for obvious reasons and finally Speechcraft for shout reduction. Should be awesome will keep you posted on how it goes (got a Revenge of The Enemies, Combat Evolved, Duel Combat Realism hybrid set up I may actually die this time around)

This actually sounds more like Henson's Strafer than the Demon Hunter.

While the similarities of the builds are striking, my build focuses less on firing as fast as possible while dodging attacks, but more on planning out my assault, dropping some caltrops or bear traps at my feet in case my plan goes south and someone gets in my face, and getting the drop on enemies before they know I am there without using the sneak skill (I am good enough at ambushes that I don't need it), and my large arsenal of potions and poisons. That and I prefer crossbows to normal bows, why waste 5 shots when you only need one?
