Going through this build in a playthrough for a third time.  Interesting to see how this plays out with Perkus Maximus (New version of SkyRe)

Since, with Perma, you can place multiple runes at crazy distances it'll probably work out very well indeed. Remember to enhance your arrows with the explosives in the Alchemy tree.

The skill trees for Perkus are more immerise and role play heavy than Skyre, they don't tell you 25% fire damage, they say "your skill with fire magic causes painful burns and melts their armor to slag." Skyre and Perkus Maximus are about the same: Skyre Demonhunter does more damage with spells and weapons and has some cool perks, Perkus Maximus Demonhunter does less damage with weapons and spells scale a lot less than Skyre but the skill trees are more streamlined with less perks and have that flavor text that I like a lot plus their are some cool perks. In the end choose what you want: if you want a more powerful Demonhunter with tons of perks, pick Skyre. If you want a less powerful Demonhunter with less perks but more role play heavy and some interesting perks like fire spells ignoring armor with destruction, smithing badass weapons and armor with smithing, pick Perkus Maximus. Both play almost the same, just differences in some perks and skill trees.

That would be best, choose the one you like most. Both mods have perks that are almost the same, just different ways of going about it. Good luck, Happy Holidays and have fun with the build.

By Sithis! This will be my next and only play through until it is completed! I've always wanted to effectively use restoration and alteration in a build and not be chained to the mage archetype. I love the feel of a "battle archer". There is a reason it has over 500 likes my friend. +1 from me.

Sorry for the late response, Holidays were crazy! Yeah Perma is a little buggy, but I downloaded a few patches on the mod page and have very few issues, maybe try that? Or you can try Skyre whichever one you like most. Happy New Year by the way.
