How do you think wearing armor fits? I like to use mismatch weak armor, such as iron boots, leather bracers, a leather helmet, and a roughspun tunic. I only use what I buy or get given by friends  though.

Not at all!  Feel free to drop a link to your blog somewhere - maybe on my page? - so I can be sure to check it out.

Very interesting, thanks!  This might call for a little rewrite if/when I get around to it...

I like the idea of mismatched armor, especially the light stuff (or anything that looks fitting).  I don't think I'd play this guy with armor myself (the monk stereotype involving lack of armor), but it's your character, so make it your own!

When does Hadvar give you a bow? I've played over 30 characters and never once has he given me  a bow.

Got this build up to level 16 now. I definitely die a lot more than I usually do in this game. It's rough being poor in Skyrim. Normally I would have pumped money into archery training by now and I'd be lethal. Right now I'm doing lots of kiting and running in circles. My armor rating is low and I don't do much damage. Alteration and restoration leveled nicely, you need the defense, and one of my favorite techniques is hiding behind my follower and keeping a steady stream of healing hands on her while she cuts people down. I really have to focus on archery though. Is hunting and leaving the carcasses to rot against he spirit of this build?

I absolutely love this idea, I was actually thinking about a 'no looting' character as well a while back, but I left the idea as "ridiculous" and "too hard", I am amazed that you made this work, congratulations.

Heads up, it's pretty tough to level archery at the same rate as the other skills without training. I wish I had been really focused on it from the get go. The last few levels I took the warrior stone to try to speed it up. Sleeping in an inn and fighting a dragon seems to be working pretty well. You land a lot of arrows, and the skill increases 30% faster than usual. I recommend taking the warrior stone in the beginning, then switching to the stone recommended by the build
