Nice... I would then think that Dawnbreaker is subject to this theory, considering it's a deadric weapon... same with sanguine rose (did i mention that he's my second fav daedric lord? I don't think I need to mention who's my most fav yeah? it's kinda reflected in most of my builds)
However, given the description above from oblivion, that would then make either the properties of the atronach forge a separate process (ie: meaning atronach forge and description in oblivion are completely different ways of obtaining the same equipment) or a joke, considering the description in oblivion requires the essence of a lesser daedra.... atronach forge just reequires the heart and the essence of a soul from nirn (think soul gem).
imo, 2 completely different properties... the fact that all souls trapped in the soul gems eventually go to th soul cairn to be fodder for the ideal masters, should be vast apart from the daedras that roam the realms of oblivion. The again, this is just my opinion on the matter.
