The little I know shows that Pelinal was pretty much dick who enjoyed slaughtering elves. I liked him that way. And don´t get me wrong, I know there´s much more to it, it´s just that Knights of the Nine were too much "goody two shoes" for my liking.
But I really had very little knowledge of Umaril, so during the questline, he seemed too distant to me. Sure, there were some Aurolans attacking the chapels, but I really didn´t care.
My biggest problem is religion. And I mean in every game. The Maker, Nine Divines and other gods from other games, I really don´t believe in them. So questline about being hero of all the gods isn´t very appealing to me.
