I was just thinking about Great Houses from Morrowind. Joining one pretty much antagonize other Houses.
Have you ever thought about them as your enemies? If you´ve joined Hlaalu, have you despised Telvanni?
Because the Lore points out that those Houses are always on odds with each other. Are they nemesis to each other?
And what about Dagoth Ur? Have you ever considered him your nemesis?

Can you imagine if Morrowind had only just come out and had attracted the same following as Skyrim? Imagine how the Civil War arguments on this site would pale in comparison to the House War arguments

Hmm, I'll have to start reading up on the lore then. I wish I'd gotten to Morrowind when it first came out, instead of after Oblivion and Skyrim

Well, I played Morrowind after Oblivion and no harm done. Except the thing that I enjoy Oblivion more, but I guess I´m the only one around here

Personally, I will never forget playing Oblivion, I will always argue that Oblivion had the better story and guilds. I think one of the main reasons I still play Skyrim is this site. As for Morrowing I just couldn't get past the rng combat, I can accept that the graphics aren't going to be as advanced as oblivion's or skyrim's but that combat just drives me insane . I can also accept not having a quest marker and how the quests are done, the only thing I don't like about them is that it forces me into more of that damned combat.

Only thing I dislike about Oblivion Morrowind is the gameplay system, otherwise I love it. But I don´t play Morrowind anymore because Morroblivion came with a solution for me
Really, Golden, you should make some build for Oblivion. I would love to see what you´re playing

I played Morrowind after Oblivion and Skyrim so it ain't too late Golden. When I played Oblivion every forum I visited was full of people raving about the Dunmer and how cool they were. It wasn't until eighteen months or so ago that I understood why. I started reading about them in an effort to understand because it was a huge thing I knew dick all about and finally played the game.

As I've said the only thing getting in my way is the combat, I know it makes sense in the context or reality for a novice to not always land a hit; be it with bow or melee weapon, but it's a damn video game I want to be able to fight reliably. The furthest I've gotten into Morrowind was convincing all the groups that you were the Nerevarine, but trekking all that way with the chance of having to enter into that combat system just ruined it for me.
I'll happily read up on the lore, but if I have to go anywhere near that combat the last vestiges of my mind will probably snap.
