Err... From all the years of my study of the mighty English language (25 years total) I got the impression that venom is a toxic substance produced by animals, insects, etc. i.e. of a natural origin, while poison is a human-made toxic substance, and a toxin is a general word for any hazardous substance. I may be mistaken however.

Btw, just curious, is your native language Deutsch?)))

Yep im Deutsch ^^ here we just say Gift it includes Poison and Venom ^^ Like Giftige Blume = Poisonous Flower or Giftige Schlange = Venomous Snake ^^ A very popular and easy way to remember the difference is" If you bite and you die its Poison , If it bites you and you die its Venom" :D

Poison - A substance which, when taken into the stomach, mixed with the blood, or applied to the skin or flesh, proves fatal or deleterious by an action not mechanical; venom.

Venom - Poison; matter fatal or injurious to life. Venom is generally used to express noxious matter that is applied externally, or that is discharged from animals, as that of bites and stings of serpents, scorpions, etc.

Toxin - Any of various poisonous substances that are specific products of the metabolic activities of living organisms, are colloidal substances related to proteins and usually very unstable, are notably toxic when introduced into the tissues but are almost all destroyed by the digestive juices, and are typically capable of inducing antibody formation in suitable animals.

FWIW!  Also, I hope to have a new character going this weekend.

I guessed that because you often capitalize some words that aren't normally capitalized, which I know is characteristic to Deutsch)) In Russian there is a word that can mean either poison or venom and also one that means only poison (Idk though which one is used in the Russian version of Skyrim because I play in English).

If you bite and you die its Poison , If it bites you and you die its Venom" :D

Correct, but what if it touches you/you touch it and you die? Or if you breathe it and die? And what if you are shot with an arrow covered in it and you die?

    Some Fun Facts

Here it is)))))) Wow, interesting) Is this how you come up with names for your characters?

I usually use UESP for inspiration or the good old Silmarillion, these are good for Elven names. The only time I ever needed to name an Imperial I agonized over it for days but in the end Wikipedia and Game of Thrones saved me.

Yes Sometimes ^^ Ostium sounded enough Imperial Like to me :D and i know next to nothing about the Mer so i just use Elvish sounding names :D

It sounds somewhat weird, never heard a name that ends with "m" but Idk. We are opposite here, I know everything aboit Mer while Men are another galaxy to me. But you do well, the only thing about Edel that made me wince was his surname. Because Altmer don't have them.

Ostium and Meeko found a Bandit Camp that blocked off the Road. It was in the Middle of the Day so Shadows were almost not present which led to Ostium being spotted. The Bandits attacked without Hesitation. A few Arrows later and the Bandits were dead.

After about a Hour of Traveling the two of them stoped by in Rorikstead, got some Food and kept Traveling. After about half an Hour had passed a vicious Thunder Storm suddenly appeared. Ostium quickly found a Cave and entered it to seek shelter from the Storm. Two Skeletons rattled their Bones at them but Meeko took care off them both. Ostium heard a Voice deeper inside the Cave. He Investigated. A Man spotted Ostium and vanished. He entered the Room. He suddenly felt intense Pain in his Neck. Ostium turned his Head and saw the Man with his Teeth lodged in his Neck. Ostium pulled an Arrow from his Quiver and rammed it deep into the Mans Eye. The Man went limb and Ostium fell on his Knees in Pain. He felt like his Blood was Boiling, and fell unconsious.
