    So this has happened several times while I've owned Oblivion, buy every now and then some DLC will go corrupt and I have to reinstall it. Any ideas as to why this happens?

    Sorry for late reply.

    What exactly you mean by "DLC will go corrupt"? You can´t load a save in DLC area or something like that?

    No, what happens is that I go to load a previous save and it says something like Required content missing. Load without content and some objects will be missing. Or something like that.

    This time though, it was because the update wasn't installed lol. DLC getting corrupt has happened a few times though.

    To be honest, this never happened to me. With mods yes, but not with DLCs. So you figured because you haven´t installed the update? And it works right now?

    Yeah, I think I cleared my cache at some point so I had to get the update again. But yes, it is working now.

    So I was thinking about playing Daggerfall for the first time. So it's free on the Wikipedia link provided on the main page right? And what exactly is DaggerXL? I'm guessing my PC can run it, as it was able to run Morrowind pretty ok. And finally...is it fun/worth screwing around in? Thanks guys!

    Sorry for late reply, Tim. Well, Daggerfall is definitely worth it, if only for it´s lore and story, not sure if you´re going to enjoy the gameplay. I certainly can´t go back to it because of gameplay, which deeply saddens me. And DaggerXL refers to XL engine which allows you to play these old  DOS games on newer engines, like Windows XP and newer.

    Thanks Karver! But it seems like DaggerXL is incomplete, and that it might not work with Windows 8.

    You have to download both DaggerXL and Daggerfall, otherwise than that I don´t know what you mean by incomplete.
