So I have a few questions, as I was thinking about getting back into Morrowind...

Are there Enchanting tables, or do you pay people to Enchant stuff? And, could I use Blunt and enchant some staff and whack people with it and be able to survive at higher levels?

Are there any fast ways of leveling Enchant?

Is Unarmored worth using, if I'm also using Alteration for Shield? I'm probably mainly going to use robes and stuff.

One problem I had on my first Morrowind character was that I ran out of Magicka really quickly. What can help with this (besides Alchemy)? Is any race good for this, like Breton?

And finally (I think) are there any unique robes/clothes that are good for a wandering wizard/pilgrim/monk type of guy? Or should I just get my own pair enchanted for me?

And this concludes my long list of questions. Thanks! :D

That´s lot of questions. I´ll try to answer this as fast as possible. I just have to collect my thoughts. Or at least try to remember.

I can answer the enchanting right now though. There are no Enchanting Tables in Morrowind. But you can enchant by yourself anywhere just by dropping some Soul Gem on desired item and that will open up enchanting menu. Advantage of enchanting by Enchanters or at Mage´s Guild is that they have 100% success rate, which you don´t have.

I really don´t know any glitch how level Enchanting really fast, but it is more or less same system as in Skyrim. You need lot of Soul Gems.

Unarmored is worth using, because Shield stacks with it, if I remember it correctly.

Now wait few minutes so I could answer the rest.

Magicka is heavily dependant on your Intelligence. Also, races like Breton and Altmer have increased Magicka. (Altmer have INT x1.5) Birthsigns like Mage should help too.

Also focusing on items with Fortify Magicka and Fortify Intelligence should increase your Magicka pool by a ton.

Also, consider owning lot of items with Enchanted Spells with various effects for moments when you´ll run out of Magicka.

I remember some common robes that you obtain during Main Quest in Erabenimsun camp, but I think you have to give it to someone to complete the quest. Otherwise than that, enchanting some common robes will do no harm.

Thanks Karver! Is it worth putting points into Intelligence if you only get (I think) one point of magicka per Intelligence point? It seems like there would be better ways to spend it....

Oh, and do you have to buy an enchant to be able to enchant something with that? Or own a spell/enchanted equipment piece with that effect?

Also...Fortify Magicka/Intelligence spells seem quite pointless. Is that just me? The cost to cast for a Fortify Magicka 5-20 points is 38 magicka lol. Maybe if your skill was high enough it would be useful? I'm assuming spells cost less magicka if your skill goes up, like in Skyrim and Oblivion.

I'm not so sure about the number stuff in Morrowind, but to enchant you need to know a spell that has the effect you want to enchant with.

As I said, Altmer have a multiplier for Intelligence, so there is a point in putting some points into Intelligence.

To enchant, you have to know the spell to enchant item with it.

I wasn´t talking about Fortify spells, but about Fortify enchants with constant effect. You can enchant item with either Spell or Spell Effect. That means, you have item that has Spell that Fortifies your Magicka, or you can have item with Constant Effect that Fortifies your Magicka.

When making the Constant Effect, you want to set the effect Fortify Strength to 1-60 pts for example to not cost much. That means that the power of the Constant Effect can range from 1-60 when you equip it. If it will have only 20, re-equip that item and it might have 50. Get it?

    I'm back with more questions :D :D :D :D :D

Are there any good strategies for dealing with Bonewalkers? I have come to hate them with a burning passion, as after a few hits I suddenly can only carry 50 pounds and am wearing 100 pound armor with a 80 pound sword -__-. Fire seems to work pretty well, but often they just get resummoned after they die.

And continuing with that, if I had no skill in Destruction, could I enchant rings or necklaces with a cast on use Touch or Target spell of Fire that did decent damage at higher levels? I'm assuming my skill would have to be high, and use a Grand Soul gem.

Also, does anyone know any good magicka regen mods? I intend on using the regular system for some time, but because I don't want to use Alchemy (which seems to be almost the only way of regaining magicka besides waiting) I might go for a "fair" regen speed mod.

Another mod question, I'm not going to be using this until I've played a lot of the base game, but has anyone played Tamriel Rebuilt? And if so, does it have a higher system requirement than Morrowind? My computer runs Morrowind ok, and I dunno if it can handle many mods. Thanks!
