    ok Hello everyone

    Im having problems deciding the final steps for my build.

    The Necromantic Scholar

    I want a traditional Necromancer, so i see a Zombie raising, poison rune flinging Mage in Dark Robes. Right now im using

    1.Conjuration for Raise dead, soul traping and to summon the Soul Cairn Skeletons as a sort of emergency zombie should my dead thralls ever go down in battle

     2.Restoration for undead healing poison rune and turn undead since in my opinion a Necromancer uses the power of death and life

     3.Alteration for Flesh Spells detect life/dead Paralyse as some sort of curse

    4.Alchemy to increase my zombies and wrathmans duration until i get Dead Thralls also to make Poisons and just in general buff me up and make me money

    5.Enchanting to beef up my dead thralls and enchant my hooded black robes and my disguise outfit.

    my main weapon will be a poisoned ebony dagger and a staff most likely skull of corruption or the staff of Magnus.

    So any additions or suggestions?

    Actually, your mechanics are pretty fleshed out and fit the build quite nicely... should be pretty solid :D

    My only suggestion would be to start fleshing out some of your character elements--specifically, answer the question: what is this guy after? I always find myself asking that question (especially for necromantic builds... hanging around corpses is not a natural progression; something has to be motivating that life choice xD).

    What are you trying to accomplish with this character? Quest for necromantic knowledge? For power? Wealth? Revenge? To be the next Manimarco? Or is it something as simple as trying to impress the ladies with his bad-boy image?

    You have a compelling skillset--it'd be awesome to see a compelling character that goes with it :D

    @Vezrabuto:  What you have here already looks good to me but it's hard to tell based on just the items/skills that character will use.  Right now you have a solid base and appear to have a good idea of what your plan is with this character.  Can you be more specific as to the "final steps" you are having trouble with?  Also since you clearly have an interest in necromancy have you seen my series on the subject over in Skyrim Tips & Tricks?  It's called the Necronomicon.  Most of the tips in there you are probably already aware of but who knows maybe something will give you the spark you need to pull this build together.

    @Shinjin yeah i have all that i just couldnt fit i ^^

    The Imperial Vezrabuto Schwarzbund (Blackbound because bound books ehhhhh ;D)He came from a family in Cyrodiil which consists of bretons and imperials, thats why he is so proficient with conjuration. he grew up learning magic in his local mage guild in Cheydinhal. becoming a Conjuration teacher at the young age of 18. he was fascinated with ayleids and everything old. after hearing of the Nordic Artifacts and unique process in which draugr are preserved. he ventured out of Cyrodiil and into skyrim in search of old spell tomes and draugr artifacts. in skyrim he runs into ulfric and is ambushed by the imperials. after escaping helgen he will live in the Morthal Inn until he can buy house Windstad. his goal is to learn more about the draugr and collect artifacts like dragon priest daggers and masks and old nord weapons. He uses Necromancy because on his adventures there are corpses everywhere and why not use them?

    What he dosent realise is that the necromancy is slowly changing him, he will grow paler become physically weaker and will do more evil actions without even realising it. he starts out Lawfull good and will slowly shift alognments until he hits Lawfull evil when he raises his first Dead Thrall. he wont become Harkons tool but rather help the Dawnguard, Harkon is to much of a threat. he will join the academy but wont become Archmage thats too much attention. so yeah thats it ^^

    That's a character I could get behind... love me those artifact hunters. Can't wait to see it :D

    @Vargr White-Tree

    that Necronomicon post is Awesome great work, i love the "embalming" trick especially since my character came to skyrim for that reason :D. i was thinking about adapting a little Ritual for when i raise someone with Dread Zombie or later Dead Thrall, do you have any ideas for that?

    May the Necromancers Moon shine upon you.

    @ Vezrabuto:  I've done similar things in my own games.  But they are mostly frilly roleplay stuff that I came up with while playing.  The best would be a ritual that is both fun RP and actually has a function in game.  The closest i've come is the use of the Letter from a Friend being a kind of written spell that I affix to the body allowing me to reanimate it.  It's nice RP and has the purpose of making the corpse permanent.  so for your build I would say try to make your ritual more than just dancing around in the game but something that actually has an in game impact.  Not that there's anything wrond with pure RP rituals I just find it more immersive if I'm doing it for more reason than just RP.

    Alright i playtested the build and its soooo much fun. I love the only destruction staff combat since you have so much Magicka for support and debuffs and you can still keep up the offense. Alchemy works great especially in the early lvls since you can poison a corpses weapon and reanimate him and the concentrated poison perk still works for the zombie. only thing bugging me was house Windstad it just looks to friendly ^^. I'll restart this Character with proper Roleplay and then post the whole build just need a finish line cant think of one.
