Thank you for moving this to the forefront, as it has truly helped a new face get started. :)

I really have to agree that contributing to the site is not as user-friendly as it would first appear for those who are not used to multi-user blogs, and having these sorts of little notes about the mechanics of it are really helpful.

To be honest, I'm not a big story teller. I have some character concepts, but with relatively simple backstories. I also have some that uses glitches, e.g. Dawnstar chest. Should I give it a try to post or not?

it was a great idea to put up a place to take you straight to the charactor build screen, now i know how to post one.

Great guide. I wish more people would read it before posting. I've got a build I'm interested in making, but I've gotten used to having 60+ mods active at once. Would it be best to deactivate all of them for my playtest, or is using something like the Unofficial patches acceptable if I mention that I used them?

I'd play with patches and deactivate them when the character is complete. To see if your playstyle actually works without mods. If you are not basing your build on an overhaul mod it should be quite close to vanilla.

Understood. Thanks for the feedback! I haven't played without mods in quite a while, so this should be interesting.

Really wanting to give this a shot. I've played several builds, but I want it to be my time to create one. However, the standard is so high from all the amazing builders, I wonder if I'll even compare.
