Slow Time is also an extremely helpful shout, being constantly augmented by the Atromancy perk.

    I believe you meant Stability.

Otherwise, nice job! I assume Silver Sword is also helpful when you don't feel like blasting undead with a staff?

Hehe, oops. Yeah, I meant Stability.

Correct about the Silver Sword. I mainly used it for its noble look, a nice upgrade compared to the rusty looking iron sword.

This is uber-cool! I love the concept of starting the Way-maker's future avatar as a benevolent wanderer (like Caine from the tv show Kung-fu)... the freedom that idea gives you to do whatever is pure dead brilliant. It also fits the RP by making the character worthy of eventually becoming the avatar of HoonDing.

As I read this and watched the character progress, I actually found him to get scarier and scarier (which also fits the role play quite well). That last line of your backstory really puts the progression into perspective. You've put a lot of thought into how this character progresses, and I think that's why the parts (path-style) gameplay works so well for this build.

I did have to take a break from reading this in order to look at james' taper mechanics article... that afterburn effect is OFF THE HOOK! I can see why you'd incorporate it into the build.

I will say that there were a few ticky-tack grammatical things that kind of gave off a vibe that you might have been in a rush to get the post up and running (just little things we don't normally see in the builds you put out), but like I said, they are just tiny little things. This is a send off build to be proud of, but I'm willing to say, "It sucks!" if it means you'll crank out just a few more like this ;D

Thanks, ShinJin! I'll work on the grammar :P It was a little rushed, I had another project to do (non-site related). Yeah, the evolution of this character is great. At level 15 I could barely fight an Overlord on with a companion. Come back as the High Priest and beat him with some quick thinking. Or go overkill and demolish him as the HoonDing.

Hey Matt, what armor combos would work for this guy?
  • March 16, 2015
Wanderer: Anything raggedy. I went with Cultist Robes and Novice Hood. Can't remember what else I wore. High Priest: Temple Priest Robes, Konahrik, and whatever enchanted boots/gauntlets you find.

Really cool build Matt! I love the simplistic gameplay style, as well as the presentation. The evolution seems pretty fluid, and HoonDing sounds badass! Great job, looking forward to the actual perkspread. +1

Perk spreads have been added. Not the best at making them, but I thought they turned out fine.

They look pretty good and are easily legible. Better than most :)

False humility will get you nowhere. These are fairly good; personally I might have placed the text along the top for the second spread similar to how you did it for the first, or maybe more in the top right hand corner, but again that's just me.

Oh and what font are the perks in?
