    Great looking build Zach! I only did one bound battleaxe playthrough and can vouch for how useful become etheral is for lining up that first big hit! +1

    I find it very hard to believe that Ponty said a bound battleaxe build isn't viable, he's brought up his love for the weapon several times in the past and discussed much of what you mentioned here (weightless/stamina bonus).

    Yeah, doesn't he use the Bound Battleaxe in his Histmaster build? As I recall, he said it wrecked enemies.

    Exactly, Samurai. Here's the paragraph he wrote about the Bound Battleaxe, "Axe doesn't really work too well, I'm building these guys around the theme of bound weapons and flesh spells - when using a melee weapon like the axe you often have to switch to healing, something that doesn't really work when you need to summon an axe every time!" He didn't say it wasn't viable, he just said it didn't fit the Arcane builds very well.

    Ah, I see. With maximized Histskin, healing wasn't a problem, thereby allowing him to use light armor and the Bound Battleaxe with no qualms.
