I like 30-45 minutes personally.  But 30 minutes sounds good.

To be honest that's what I prefer... But I doubt as many people have that patience

15-30 is great in my opinion

Yeah if it's too long you could get tired to just wait for even the load time 15-30 is ok plus Solstein isn't that big IMO Shivering isles were bigger

Not if you use a lot of texture mods.

Only one I've got is for cave interiors, my computer doesn't seem to like the high-res texture pack much; after about half an hour to an hour I start getting 1-second pauses every few minutes when travelling around and the occasional purple texture

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
    Memory 4096MB RAM
    Hard Drive

    1 TB

Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275

It cost me about $2000 a good 3 years ago but it still runs modern games on medium-high settings. And yes, it runs Crysis on maximum

After asking around what sort of new stuff is in Dragonborn I decided to roll with a 2-handed/light armor/destruction/restoration/smithing/enchanting Nord with a focus on Shouts (Elixir of the Healer + Blessing of Talos + Amulet of Talos = 60% cooldowns)

There's a really cool mod out there - it has magical items that duplicates those 3 effects (more or less if you prefer).

Quick question guys, thoughts on having 360p only? My converting/upload speeds are kinda slow so I'd prefer not to have to record in 720p...

I only ever watch stuff in 360p due to my internet, so I fine with that.

What I used to do is record at half my monitor's native resolution which I run games at (1440x900) which means it was either 360p or 480p with lots of black space. Something I tried then is playing in windowed at 1280x720 and recording at full, looks pretty good though the files/encoding times are quite long. Recording at half that resolution should be good

I was just watching the Arcane Bladesman again and I noticed that, I tried the 480p and it was pretty good quality.

Announcement: I've decided to abandon my Dragonborn Let's Play, with so few people watching and my crappy mic, having to record, commentate and upload everything it really bogs down the gameplay and discourages exploration (since I don't want really long uploads and such). I think I'll just stick to mostly build videos and you can expect them in 720p in the future!

That's too bad. I can see how you would want to just explore and not HAVE to do specific things.
