I had no idea you could get followers to do that. Does that work for doors as well? That would REALLY help me work my Speech training: gotta break into a place to replace a stolen ring ;D

Yep! It's pretty nice for a roleplay duo. I've picked up Sophia (a really fun follower mod with a lot of personality) for my surly archer character. She's cheerful, enthusiastic, loves adventure, and is as good with a blade as she is with locks. He's a cranky jerk with steampunk armor who needs someone to make him lighten up, or else he'll make himself miserable regardless of how well his inventions are working. Together, they fight crime! Or bandits (who are criminals). And also explore a lot of dunmer ruins.

I'm really looking forward to your build, Shinjin. I haven't yet delved far into Ordinator's Restoration perks yet (I took the Conjuration route for an army of skeletons, plus a bear from the Speech tree because, uh, bears are awesome), but they're on my list right after this Light Armor/Speech Shoutpuncher.

...Is it too late to change my build's name to...The Shoutpuncher?

Oo - is that using False Light? Can't wait to see that.

    Hurts, doesn't it!

Yes! False light has been an eye opener for me, thus far. I'm still running into mainly bandits, though, so I'll have to see how effective it is at later levels. Sadly, Heal Others doesn't work on undead (though I wonder if heal undead spells will).

And yes... it hurts like a mother xD

Speech/Light Armor is my favorite Ordinator combo so far. I put a shout-puncher in the mid-30's on hold for this event. Pretty freaking effective, AND I'm doing it without the Ring of the Beast... just don't need it.  Super stoked to see what you come up with!

    BTW--"shout-puncher"? Coolest.  Name. Ever! xD

Doing a reroll on my character as well. Thinking of making it both brothers fused together(litteraly) and making the two perks Heavy armor and Illusion. I rename It: The Spectral Basilisk. Also I have found a combo that allows me to be undetectable with the heavy armor to the point I can run around a Briarheart without him searching for me! Also thinking about limiting stalves to the paralysis and Skull of Corruption! Also, good luck everyone and may the best Dovahkiin win! Finally, I am altering him a bit today and it will look bad because my phone games to make these for some reason. I will fix it tomorrow and pretty it up

Well another refoll here haha my build is becoming more warrior that assassin so back to the drawing board. If anyone has some tips for completely unarmored combat I'd appreciate them as this will be the first time I'm doing that.

So yeah, from now and probably for a long while. I will probably need a host to cut and paste the contents of a GDoc, which I will link in the discussion for not only any builds for Events, but all future builds. I'm sorry if this inconveniences anyone

Unarmored Combat Tip #1: Don't get hit often.

Unarmored Combat Tip #2: Stay Nimble. Daggers work well, as do Bows with the ranger perk. Magic also. Two Handed CAN work if you can play the distances right, but it takes more skill.

Unarmored Combat Tip #3: Blocking is your friend in melee, even with a dagger. Not only can it reduce damage, but bashing can interrupt attacks you would otherwise have to eat. Matter of fact, dagger fighters get a LOT of use from block-bashing, as they can focus on nimble attacks with enchanted daggers while using stamina for bashes.

Unarmed Combat Tip #4: Look into Alteration for Flesh Spells, which can bolster your armor.

Unarmored Combat Tip #5: He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day. Don't dig in your heels and facetank enemies when you lack protection. No-armor makes you super-nimble, use it to your advantage and juke, dance in-and-out of range, or just plain get outta dodge when your health is dangerously low.

Unarmored Combat Tip #6: Know your terrain and how to use it to your advantage. Take cover from archers and mages, use pillars to lead melee enemies around on chases, dance over traps so enemies can walk into an all-you-can-eat spike wall buffet, and use corners or line of sight to draw ranged enemies close so you can dispatch them where they don't have the advantage.

I love unarmored builds, and those are all great tips! I'd only add:

Keep your friends close and your enemies... considerably less so: enemies focusing on someone else is enemies not focusing on you. In addition, if you have a way to deal damage from a distance, this is the best way to handle melee combatants--they can't hurt you if they can't hit you. At the very least, it's usually a good idea to soften the baddies up from a distance so you have less work to do when they get in close ;D

IT IS DONE! It's a bit late here so I might have made some mistakes, but I'm tired and I'll leave it as it is for now.
