I suggest removing Twin souls. It doesn't fit with the Warlock in my opinion or at least make Twin souls optional.

    What's wrong with Twin Souls?

In the wow days, I always see Warlock having only one summon out at a time. I can't unsee it.

AM still playing wow btw... and there is this talent that allows you to have an additional pet out of the same type which is currently summoned for 30sec on a 2 min cd i think.

Fits in just nice if you ask me if compared to current wow standards... but i'll tel you the real reason for this perk.

In case you haven't noticed, i have absolutely no magicka regen anywhere on me! Added to the fact that this build is a vamp, there would be no magicka regen in the daytime at all and the regen that kicks in at night is almost neglible.

Due to that, the cost of spells like paralyze, will cost tons of magicka, with the only form of recovery through the ability Life Tap. So having 2 summons out (esp if they're dremora lords), would allow you to help level the field when faced with more than 4 enemies. This would allow time and space for you to pull off the Life Tap Move without fear.

Oh and did i mention i play this build on legendary? Completely viable.

    Hey Lordbully,

So yeah, I would rather leave that experience and verdict to the people like yourself who try out my builds.

From experience, you need to be really careful with this build if playing on legendary. It's not just about summoning an atronach and 1-2 ing it with destruction spells. There's a lot of finesse to this build and for most part, it will be difficult in the early stages, especially if you choose not to use any magicka regen gear.

A small tip though: Although I have not indicated in my build (i would probably re-visit this build to polish it up a tad), for the earlier portions as you get through the college of winterhold questline, you might want to try some sort of a "Chaos Wave".

This can be easily simulated by using your basic sparks spell and frostbit spell to drain the energies of the living, due to the nature of the spells, not only causing damage, but also draining stamina and magicka.

This effect can be replicated each level as you move along for single target spells

(ie: Sparks -> Lightning Bolt -> Thunderbolt / Wall of Storms) / Frostbite -> Ice spike -> Ice Spear / Wall of Frost)

The only fire spell allowed if you don't have dragonborn DLC, is the adept leveled Flame Cloak. If you have DB DLC, Flame Cloak until you get Ring of Arcana, then use ignite for fire based DPS instead.

Fire spells are pure damage and non draining, so they don't really take precedence in the early stages, unlike the other 2 elements. I will probably be update this build later on to reflect the above.

For now, enjoy your playthrough and let me know if you have any questions.

Wouldn't an evil Warlock want to use Soul Tear to not only rip the soul out of his opponents but also raise them to do his bidding? Maybe I am just think aloud. +1 regardless.

True, but I didnt not take soul tear for 2 reasons:

    Mechanics:

First 2 words of soul tear cause stagger damage... that would introduce an interesting mechanics of staggering a foe in place, whilst i let me spells kill it slowly. However, whilst all that is good, that would leave me open in the interim period  of shout recovery, giving a window for my enemy to escape....and the irritating think about wall spells? You need to have your foe in it.

I wanted to warlock to be demon oriented, not necro oriented. Whilst the trapping of souls is not beneath me, raising a cropse up after it's been killed for this build is not something i can really live with. Breaks immersion.

    So there.... hope it helps.
