Hey, So sometimes the game is kind and drops of a pair of unenchanted thalmor robes after completing the eye of magnus quest. Also, sometimes you get it off the crate in the thalmor embassy.

However, if you don't find it off ancano, best hold off with archmage gear till you start with the embassy run. Alternatively, you can try the mannequin glitch. However, here's food for thought on the early levels.

Based on my early run with this build when developing the spellcloak, try using this gear outfit:

Hooded Thalmor robes with low level enchanted gear (think 3/5 enchanter perk) + Ring of minor destruction + saarthal amulet (both are quest and drop).

Now, cast your necessary spells while using the skill combo "Life tap" in my build to regain mana.

It takes a bit of getting used to, but you will find it essentially fun, without the need for mana regen gear. I actually considered going like this, but in VL form, you will need the mana regen gear for blood magic.

Try it and let me know how you feel about it :)

    Hey Arch,

OK, so in skyrim, the definitions of what we know as a warlock is quite different from what it is in WoW and other MMORPG. Here's a list of wiki defined explanation for you to chow down on:

    http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Battlemage

    http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Conjurer_(Skyrim)

    http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Necromancer_(Skyrim)

    http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Sild_the_Warlock

I couldn't come across an exact definition for warlock, but based on slid's description, I would say the build covers it and more.

My version of what a warlock consists of is a bit of everything you see up there, but not enough to cross that boundries to be an archetype.

My warlock is definitely not a battlemage... you'll need a different sent of perks for that + heavy armor gear.... something which is not included in my build (unless you want go for that, then you will be a variant of a battlemage, not a warlock)

Whilst my build does also Conjure up flame antronachs, it's only cause of it's daedric link: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Flame_Atronach_(Skyrim)

Along with this, he summons (Conjures) the spirit of Arniels shade too. In fact it can be said that Arneil's is the single most OP spirit in the game to overtake anything, even dragons. Combined with Call of valor shout, you have a "spirit Summoner" build for the warlock, but that would mean going end game, something which I am trying to avoid to preserve player experience with this build.

Though the perk tree selection deals more with atromancy, I however don't dip into the bound weapons and undead perk tree, preventing the build from being a true conjurer or a necromancer.

And no, the main spell attack for the warlock ain't flames... it's drains and dots, which is why for mid range or up close, i use vampiric drain and staff of magnus.

The mention of flames in the support section is only for that: Support. It is meant to make the summoned daedra hit harder through short bursts of flame application on target, not use it as a main source of damage.

    Hope this answers your questions..

    Thanks.

Hm…I'll try the mannequin glitch, all the robes I get from the two places you said are enchanted. Thanks!

    Hey Iron,

Yeap, coming out soon... Currently working on the videos for My Warlock Build and Trying to fit in the Video for the next build. This would give people a better idea of how the character turns out at 40.

    Thanks.

The roleplay deserves a +1. Cheers for a malicious concept

    Thank you :)

In fact, my entire "Dark" Series of builds are of the malicious sort with a story line to it across all characters. Am in the midst of revamping my current  ones and churning out new ones, so stay tuned :D
