Straag Rod (The Turning Wheel): Book 1

  • November 24, 2015

Christmas! Yay! Bathroom reading for all!

In the process making some minor tweaks to improve continuity. It is very tedious work.

Just finished! Now, just to wait for the next part of your book.

It's coming. Right now, I'm still working on Part 4 of Book 1 for Steam. In addition, I've also edited chapters 1-6 and 28, for inconsistencies, grammar, and other stuff in preparation for the PDF.

So, edited chapters 7-9 for the PDF.

NaNoWriMo was a good experience for me (thank you, Sotek, for dragging me, though I started a day late).  Had a huge surge Saturday, with Almost 7000 words, which brought me close to 70k, but I petered out the last two days and wrote nothing. Nevertheless made huge progress on Straag Rod part 4 (only about 14 chapters left). I will keep to my promise, however, and shift focus back to editing for the pdf so we can get me releasing that for December and back to me posting blogs here. I think it's time to continue Albee's adventure here.

Congratulations to everyone who entered and used the opportunity to further their stories.

I also have to fix my tags. They suck, or, they are non-existent. That doesn't help me.

Yay! Must have felt great busting out so much new content, especially after how long you've mostly been editing old posts. As for tags, I remember one really good story I read had ridiculously long tags, like whole preambles. That was actually the first story I read here and got me hooked on this site. I should see if I can find hers in the archives when I'm not on a phone.

NaNoWriMo  was really worth it in so many ways for us. Been great slogging through the 50,000 word limit alongside you. We've achieved so much throughout November but all that being said, in the grand scheme of things for both U.O.T.W. and Stragg Rod, it's just a ripple on the surface.

50,000 words... Ok maybe not a ripple, lets say a small wave.

Here's to NaNo next year and a solid years worth of writing in between.

Thanks Sotek. I will remember our write-offs fondly over steam. Tehe, no reason we have to stop that though.

Well, chapters 10-14 have now been cleaned up.

Gonna ponder some formatting for the pdf while I sleep. I'd like to link to notes. I think that might be a good thing.
