You're complaint is well-founded, it's hard to phrase this next part professionally. However seeing as this comment and not the build, I'll just word it not-so-professionally... Basically the Prophet is used early on (while you're enchanting and smithing are still developing) as well while traveling or in town. The latter is strictly a roleplay choice. I didn't want to see the divine HoonDing hunched over a workbench :P In a fight you can use whichever, depending on what you're in the mood for, Cruel Party Leader or Noble Divine Warrior. However there are a few cases where one is better suited than the other. Undead and automatons can't be controlled by Bend Will so the Prophet loses effectiveness in those areas. He's better suited at taking out groups of humanoid enemies. The HoonDing is very capable of taking automatons and undead (and humanoid enemies) since most of their damage is physical. The HoonDing doesn't really have a major weakness, he has good physical and magical resistance and doesn't rely on turned enemies. And yes, the HoonDing uses a shield. Just realized I forgot that in the equipment list...

    WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?

How did I miss this? Your unoffical tag "character build something else" should be Yokuda, or Ansei, or HoonDing.... I just found it through a google search instead of directly on this site. Unless the tag implies that this build is "something else". Which to me it is lol. I missed it the first go round, so maybe this shuffle up on the list will get it more likes.

Anyway, onto the build. Yes yes yes yes yes. I absolutely love the Yokudan awesomeness of Ra'Gada history. Very pleased you've helped us connect those dots between MfD and the Bound Sword to make a feasibly godlike spirit sword. I like the thematic choice on the HoonDings armor as well. There are so few Yokudan builds, I'm glad to have caught this. Good stuff man. +1 with a quickness

I also am very intrigued by this Charon character you've made, and I will be checking that out now.

Thanks, dude. The "something else" is just because I couldn't really think of what else to put :P The MfD+Bound Sword was extremely fun and I've officially fallen in love with the HoonDing armor combo. Another Yokudan build you might enjoy is the Sword-Singer by Teccam (which eventually becomes an Ansei). It's possibly my favorite build on the site excluding this one. Henson also has a lot of Redguard builds (You might like the Apostate, that one is great).

I actually just gave the Sword Singer a much belated like. Embarrassing how many times I've read that build and not given it a like. I definitely ran a playthrough using that as my basis before. I don't know if it was something to do with my p.o.s. phone or not. That came out back when I didn't have internet at home

Sorry I missed you posting this one Matt. I really like the elegance of this build, how all the elements fit together neatly, compliment each other nicely and the lore it's based upon. It sort of feels quite subtle and understated though, which I also quite like too - it suits the character in a way.

    Good job sir!

Forgot to mention how much I like the integration of the Staff of Jyrik Gauldrson

Great build! +1 I wasn't really interested in redguard stuff, but when I saw your build, I changed my mind, HoonDing is just so interesting! I also like the fact that your prophet seems to want to cleanse the world, as most builds are either too evil to care or too good, thus definitely deserves more likes.

    Nice build.

The armor combo is kind of cool (even though I dislike glass armor).

I think this build classifies as a spell sword, so you could add that to the tags.

    You're welcome.

Dude I dig how you use only one Shield Wall. Smart move.
