Honestly, I really like this and the idea of a Skyrim lonely hearts column is genius. There's so much mileage to be had with that.

Busted xD Don't quite know what's wrong with me; I like playing the archetypes, but I equally enjoy turning them upside down (it's one of the reasons I'm going to give Tai-Rai-driar's Hedge Mage a run--Nord/Orc magician? Okay, where's that manual! xD). Glad the column idea panned out (wasn't sure if I was pushing the limits of willing suspension of disbelief with that or not xD), and thanks for the comment... I always enjoy hearing from the blog's resident lore guru ;D

I definitely agree with you there, playing with a stereotype by staying true to form or subverting it is great fun  After reading this I am almost tempted to revisit an old Wild Elf barbarian idea.
