Vulfar does have a point when he is describing why to side with Ulfric for the civil war. Skyrim is the only province that doesn't seem to be ruled by its surviving race. And I say surviving because the Snow Elves and Dwemer where in Skyrim first. But there is only one of either race left as far as we know of. So the Nords do have a right to rule there own province, if they so wish.

It is already destroyed man. The empire Talos started was ruled by dragonborn nord emperors that valued honour more than money and power. The empire now has nothing to do with it. And a Nord would choose to die over giving up his most loved god.

Aye. Nords know how to kick some ass, I will give them that. Even the great Snow Elves couldn't face them. And since their nord ancestors spilled so much of their blood to keep this land theirs, I don't see a reason why they should just obey their Imperial masters now. As I said, the Redguard stand alone for 30 years and still, the Dominion can't get them. Imagine what the Nords will do. The empire will never recover.

Yeah, but many Nords support the Empire, and that many are still pissed Ulfric killed the king, you know, regicide. And it wasn't fair, Ulfric Fus-ed Torryg down and stabBed him. What would be fair, is if Torryg atleast had a c hance of winning.

I like your take on joining the stormcloaks, alot of people see them as racists but What I always take into account when doing the civil war questline is that if the redguards can repel the empire and the thalmor why not skyrim though the way ulfric went about it was a bit overkill.  +1

Why wasn't it fair? It was man vs man, skill vs skill. Ulfric has strength. He has the thu-um. He has the Voice within him. He trained with the Greybeards. Why would the Greybeards help him if he hadn't a pure heart? They are supposed to be able to see into men's hearts. Seriously, do you believe that Torygg deserved the throne? All he cared about was power and gold. He barely knew how to fight. The stormcloaks follow the old ways and at the old times, kings would conquer kings to take their place. If you look back at the old times, you will see the great things the ancestors did. Then the ways changed and all lost their honour and bravery. Where did the new ways got us? Slaves to the Aldmeri Dominion. Surely, the Empire doesn't want Ulfric to take the throne. So they rush out their lies about him only caring about the throne and that is a racist asshole. But if you have a talk with him, he is neither racist nor egoist. He will let you join his cause even if you are not a nord. He will let you join his cause even if you are not the Dragonborn. He will let you join his cause even if you are not a damn good warrior, but just a milkdrinker. Damn me, I don't even know why the call him racist. If he take the throne the world will learn the truth about him. And those who still want their imperial gold and trade can very easily leave skyrim and go to Cyrodil. But I don't think it can stand for long enough only with its gold. Cause the empire doesn't even have good soldiers. They are just in for the money.

Let's see, he doesn't send out guards if a non Nord settlement or caravan is attacked, he makes the Dunmer live in pretty much a dingy alley, and all Argonians have to live, pretty much outside the city. The Khajjit caravans I can kinda understand, since they carry Moon Suger, but that has a cultural significance to their people.

Oh, and let's not forget. Ulfric wants religious freedom, but quashes the FORSWORN, who, you know, owned the Reach before the Nords drove them out. Yeah, while they do worship Hagravens and Hircine, it's still kind of a dick move.
