Nope, even my mom has played Skyrim and she's even older than the other Paul. She's 78. She started out with this cute little Breton alchemist and cook and then BAM dark brotherhood and the Ebony blade.

Both hilarious and terrifying. I love your mom. xD

I am sorry you are all gloomy and doomy, Paul, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, if people are patient and understand that neither Vargr nor I are robots. We are hobbyists too. People are still learning the site and we've had new content be posted, you just have to click on the next page. There is also an event planned for the Remaster's release and several new builds in the Workshop. We are talking with Admin to administer a new thing for participating members and it will be something super cool and something the Ning site NEVER had. I, myself, am working on content, which is why I kept pestering you about Wuuthrad. I'd love to see this problem sorted out too and we are working to fix it, as I said, a task force is being assembled to work to archive the images and restore builds.  This, I promise, out of SHEER stubbornness, Character Building will be BETTER than it was before. It may take Vargr and I a while to do it, but it will happen. You all know the work I do in Story Corner. Whether you all actively participate in its restoration or sit in the sidelines, it will happen.

Vargr and I also thinking about how to make content more visible, so expect some stuff to be moved around, stickies to be removed. I was a host for a site where really there was only one sticky topic in the top per group and then we went straight to content. Half this sections first page are stickies and it annoys me personally to no end. Everything you need to know about the section should be in one giant sticky.

We are also discussing the possiblity implementing discussions similar to the Writer's Discuss in the Story Corner, but instead, a Builder's Discuss, where we address specific topics in character building. A discussion where new and veteran builders can share their thoughts and everybody learns.

Lots of work to do, yes, but I choose to be enthusiastic about CB's future. I've seen other sections make huge turnarounds in activity in Tamriel Vault. I've been a part of that process and it feels bloody good. It will happen here.

This is an inspiring post Lis, lovely to read :)

Steady on Liss, I'm only 57, for heaven's sake

My Mum, were she still with us, would be 79 years old!

Technically, then, she *is* "even older" than you, Paul :P

I'm going to be 37 next year, so I still have a bit of catching up to do age-wise... but with three 5-year-olds running around it sometimes feels as though I've lived an extra lifetime since they were born!
