Turned out really well, Zach. I might even have to plug in the 360 to give this a run myself!
I love the "desert Gandalf" combo of the staff of Chain Lightning + Windshear. Stun literally anything, every time, with either hand? Yes please. We don't have many sword/stave builds on the site, which is a real shame since that's such an awesome fighting style. Same goes for "wind magic" builds. I can only think of a couple off-hand, but it's a really interesting dynamic and a welcome change of pace from the classic elements.
One question for you, and I think this may have come up in our PMs a few weeks back — but what (if anything) do you do to impose some limits on this setup? With so many means of staggering, disarming, and ragdolling your opponents, it would be very easy to take this "too far" and become more or less godlike. Some people like that, but what about for people who like more of a risk and reward setup?
Couple of minor errors:
- It's spelled scimitar, not schimitar
- I notice you mention drinking a potion of Fortify Restoration before equipping the Amulet of Talos, to get 50% Fortify Shouts rather than 40%. I assume this is also including the Blessing of Talos? Just clarifying, because you didn't list the latter under "Magical Effects."
Again, very well done, Zach. Easy +1 from me.
