Thanks, I have a couple ideas spinning around right now so it should not be too long.

This is a very nice build... CQC archery is something that is very much overlooked in Skyrim and I am glad you took this on.

That said, my only comment is the switching from Spell mode to Archery, draw time and all that. My understanding is that with Fast shot, Zephyr and Auriel's Bow is able to Nock an arrow within a sec.. How about Nordic Bows? What's their time frame like?

Also, you might seem reliant on the slow time shout for melee, cause i see nothing here that helps tackle in your face fighters (You know, bandit chiefs, Berserk Orcs and all that) save for power shot perk, which staggers 50% of the time. With Extra effect in enchanting, my take is that you're better off with a Frost enchant on the blow for the slow effect + absorb health... this is for melee opponents. You can of course switch to Shock Damage + Magicka absorb for the non melee types.

Anyways, I really like the CQB archery idea and it's given me some aweome ideas that I might want to try out as well. +1 from me.

Honestly I hardly shouted at all, I did not rely on it at all.

For the exact time on the Nordic bow I am not sure, but it is pretty darn fast.

With the face fighters they are actually very easy. A high armor rating (heavy armor + smithing + alteration) will always mean you do not take massive amounts of damage while absorbing health will keep you. With a high health regen you can regenerate health between each of their swings (not fully, but it helps). The slow effect would not be useful because this guy wants to get close up.

hmm... so in this build, the toon just stands it;s ground and take damage like a boss? Risky Aight? Maybe it's my mentality, but I've always been a mage player (With a few hybrids that require range and some form of escapism). Anyways, if that how this build is meant to be played and as long as I can survive a few hits, I might actually RP this one just to get a feel of what it's like.

I am assuming against dragons, we gotta keep distance, get showered and aborb their dragon breath (Fire or forst dont matter) and just pwn right? Shouldn't be an issue. Nice all rounded build then :D

Exactly. You can stand your ground against pretty much anything. It is actually not very risky given the level of tanking that can be achieved. I played extremely recklessly and I only died when I was just messing around. This build can take a lot of hits. It is less about doing maximum damage (higher RoF bows with lower damage) and more about taking everything the enemy was to through at you while still dishing the pain.

Basically, there is no reason to run away, and you do more damage when you close up due to walls/runes/cloaks/reflect blows. Especially once you get disintegrate.

Dragon fights are super easy. While they are in the air just shoot at them. When they land run up so that walls/runes/cloaks/reflect blows can take effect and continue shooting.

Very good build as always, Zach! I recently tried my hand at a tanky archer, but my hate for the early levels of Archery was too strong. But your's is better anyways! :D

People keep mentioning 'stability' wth is that?

Nice build, i like the first piccy too :D

The tanky archer is of an almost unheard concept since I have been here as I haven't seen many of them.

Well done, I prefer this to the Songbird though, +1
