I recently began playing this character as DiD with the d6 idea. It really adds gravitas to each decision I make and has made the playthrough much more enjoyable.

This build combines everything I like in Skyrim. Dunmer, Fire Magic and Assassins. I even signed up on this blog just to like this build.

Now i can't wait to get my hands on the Dragonborn DLC to see this builds full potential.

Glad you appreciate the build. It appears you like the best things in Skyrim (Dunmer, Fire spells, and Assassins) :)

One question though, would you recommend becoming a vampire or werewolf for this build?

Only if you are roleplaying a specific character. Otherwise it's pointless to be a werewolf, since it just is a hack and slash and has no stealth skills. Vampires have a weakness against fire, which is a hindrance for a class that uses fire magic

Actually vampire would work very well. As a Dunmer you would cancel out the weakness and with the Ahzidal mask you would still have 50% resistance to fire total.

But you need both dlc, I'm just saying for someone who doesn't have them

It won't hinder the build any to be a vampire though. Dragonborn dlc is fundamental to this build. Even without Dawnguard the stats from vampirism are beneficial to the class.

I will probably go with vampire then for the Dawnguard dlc. After that, I'll probably keep being a vampire if I can enchant my stuff for either fire or magic resistance instead of fortifying Alteration.(I've got all 3 dlcs)
