A Thalmor Loremaster maybe. Seeking out Artifacts and Old Books for the Thalmor.
The loremaster is a gatherer and keeper of secrets. He is often obsessed by the written word, with cryptic and arcane lore serving as his devoted mistress. Holding to the adage that knowledge is power, the loremaster often forsakes material wealth for rare or unusual information the loremaster believes that the only worthwhile goal in life is the acquisition of intellectual might. After all, wealth is spent, passions fade, and the power of the body is limited by age, while the mind’s capacity to grow greater with time is infinite.

Lol, that can be attributed to my main too. The knowledge is not his main goal though, but still.
When I read this, however, for some reason I imagined a guy who ends up falling a victim to the schemes of Hermaeus Mora, lol. Which, while cool, is not very Thalmory.

Ok now i understand the Thalmor. I always thought they were just bad guys since Skyrim depicts them that way.
Having to see someone who killed Thousands of Elves and forced them to accept him as Ruler over the Elf be Praised as a God when no one really cares what he did to the Altmer. Some High Elves who lived During Tiber Septims time that had to live during his dynasty and then see him Praised as a God, Damn thats Harsh.

@Vezrabuto - I strongly recommend to check the lore archives here at the site there are some posts explaining the story of the Altmer and the Thalmor in detail.
It's a thing in Skyrim how the Thalmor and other factions were portrayed / explained poorly to say the least. The Empire and the Thalmor took the short end of the stick here and in the case of the Thalmor it was even more so. If the game was set in Alinor back during the Tiber Septim wars then you would see all the hate towards the Thalmor would be directed towards the Empire and the Nords / Stormclaoks and everyone would kill them when meeting them outside and not the Thalmor. :P
That's why because it is lore derived from real life sutuations and history one has to see all sides and then make a conclusion.

Vezrabuto said: Already read alot i completly understand the reasoning the Thalmor and Altmer have, but i cant agree with the "Kill all Men" plan. Seems Kind of Crazy.
I wonder where you even found any "Kill All Men" plan? Kirkbride says that they want to destroy the world, the whole world, not Men, to return to the state of Immortality, where wouldn't be even such thing as races (whether it is even possible is a good question too), nothing about killing Men in particular.
And in the actual game lore, be it Skyrim or ESO, where's nothing about that either. The Thalmor themselves say that they want a new Merethic Era, i.e. they want to rule over Tamriel.
