Really nice build! I was also thinking on a build based on going after books, but you stole my idea they are not very useful gameplay wise, so making a character driven by collecting them makes them more relevant. The only thing I'd have made different was setting up a list of books to use as a checklist, like collecting all skill books and books series.
Also, congrats for using alteration and not going for mages armor. I have to confess that builds that go for this school only for a replacement for light and heavy armors kind of piss me off

"If you notice any burnt or ruined books in a human inhabited dungeon, take your time to punish them dearly. All those that have no respect for knowledge deserve what's coming for them"
Wow that's some crazy RP, Love it

@Nightfall, thanks! Actually, this build doesn't use any Alteration spells, hehe. But yeah, it was on purpose. I never really used mage armor, because I couldn't be bothered to keep recasting it when it ran out/ I went into battle. As for the booklist, the Scholar doesn't have a particular subject that he's interested in; he pretty much aims to know everyhing about everything, and there's also the matter of rebuilding his collection, so he'll take everything he can get.
@jester, really? Haven't noticed that yet. What's the build?

I'm generally trying to keep my builds free of DLC content, so people who don't own the expansions can still use them as a whole. Overall though, it's a good idea, I'll add it to the roleplay section. Thanks for the tip!

@Vlad B Damn, I think I need to stop drinking alcohol in the morning I think I misread alchemy... well, better yet then!
@jester I recall a build that used a lot of scrolls and staffs and kind of had the same theme. I don't remember the name but the equipments were a Dragon Priest mask and Fur armor. Is that it?
