(The Power of Shadow)
(The Harbinger of Sithis)
(The Black Hand)
Race: Breton Vampire
Stone: Warrior
Stats: 3|1|1
Primary Skills: Illusion, Sneak
Secondary Skills: Smithing, One-handed
Tertiary Skills: Heavy Armor, Speech
Heavy Armor is very lightly invested in because you probably won’t be seeing too much open combat. I put two perk points into Haggling just to make leveling up Smithing easier to manage.
Spells: Muffle, Invisibility, Frenzy, Pacify
Tier 1 Equipment:
Novice Hood, Steel Armor, Steel Gauntlets, Steel Boots, Steel Sword
Tier 2 Equipment:
Apprentice Hood, Orcish Armor, Orcish Gauntlets, Orcish Boots, Steel Sword, Orcish Dagger
Tier 3 Equipment:
Shrouded Hood, Daedric Armor, Daedric Gauntlets, Daedric Boots, Gauldur Blackblade,
Blade of Woe (the best possible version of Gauldur Blackblade is when you are level 36)
Early Game: Your Illusion spells will work on a good amount of enemies, but in times when you are out of magicka or are facing an opponent who can not be affected by your spells you will have to rely on careful parrying and strikes with your sword to cut them down.
Mid-game: By this time you should have the perk Assassin's Blade, so you will be able to focus more on eliminating your foes from stealth. But again, should you be in a situation where you can not manipulate shadow or mind, your blade will be your weapon of choice.
Late Game: With the perk Master of the Mind and spells such as Invisibility and Pacify your opponents truly will be at your mercy, which you should have none of. Should you ever tire of slaying from stealth, you are at complete liberty to face enemies in open combat as your armor and the Gauldur Blackblade's enchantment will be enough to protect you, and your skill with your weapon will be quite formidable as well.
I found melee opponents to be the easiest to defeat as they can easily be made to kill each other from stealth or dealt with in several other ways. For ranged enemies, especially those you can not reach, the best thing to do is to use a calm spell on them and deal with them when you can get closer. Dragons were the toughest for me to deal with, but depending on how far you go into the main quest (I stopped at The Way Of The Voice) you may not have to deal with them at all. But should you encounter one, activate Dragonskin (Breton racial ability) and block bash to stagger it to get as many hits as you can (approximately two or three). Vampire Lord form is a good way to deal with difficult enemies such as dragons, and it can also be a fast way to get around.
Factions: Volkihar Vampires, Dark Brotherhood
Roleplay: Some say he is an incarnation of Sithis in the flesh. Others say he is the servant of Molag Bal. All rumors and tales about this demon are fictitious. He is the master of deceit and he serves the Dread Father with undying loyalty. Any that stand in his way, will fall.
Closing Notes: This build was inspired by The Black Hand from “Shadow of Mordor”. This is not a unique build by any means, I just had fun playing it and I wanted to share it. I’d like to thank my friends V and Cannon for proofreading this. If you enjoyed this build then please leave a ‘like’, it would mean a lot to me. Thanks for reading.

*disclaimer I never finished playtesting this build, as I neared the end of it my Skyrim decided to give up on me and not let me open my save files.

Thanks Cannon, and *neared. Seems I always need someone to fix my spelling. (I'm dumb :/ )

Tysoyaha said: Beautiful! I love that you include a series of armor/weapons to use as you level up. I typically have something like that in mind with my builds, but never have the forethought to include it in the written version. It really helps you understand the sense of progression as you read. The only thing I'd suggest editing is the title and the tags so that is easier for other users to find. The typical title format would be "Character Build: The Black Hand" and the tags should be formatted as: "Character Build Vampire" for gameplay tags and "Race:Breton", or "SE Rank:Novice" for the race and rank tags.
Ah okay okay, thank you, I'll do that right away.
*edit. aaaaaand someone already did it, okay. :P

Hey there Loop, went ahead and fixed up your tags and build title, just so they're in line with standards and will show up in the Archives and everything.
So, I'm a little torn on whether or not I should recommend anything here because you've got a really good set-up visually, it looks really clean at the moment and I'm kind of hesitant to recommend things that might disrupt it. It doesn't help that while technically, you've got everything you need. I would say that the build feels pretty short, I would especially recommend expanding a few sections... Your skills, gameplay and roleplay sections are all just really short, and I think it'd really help the build if you expanded on them.
For Gameplay, explaining the basics of how you fight each type of major enemy (Mage, Archer, Warrior, Dragon) that shows up in the game. It's a pretty easy way to show off the combat a little more, and the other way that I've seen most people do it, is to explain how you've played the game, explaining what quests you did when (and why), any particular items/spells/powers that you picked up. Either works, both works but I just think this build could use some more explanation there. I like to use the logic that you should imagine a brand new player picking up the build, and then go into that much detail so they could pick up the build rather easily.
Roleplay...not entirely sure how to expand on it, or at least I've got nothing specific to recommend.
Anyway, I do like the overall build, just think there could be a bit more to it mate :)

Is that just me or is the opening text either quenyan or Black Speech from Tolkien's world? Either way, the build is pretty great so far! Love the first image!
