I don't worry about it too much, as long as I can justify it in the RP. For instance, the Wolf stuff can be bought right after Proving Honor. I can't tell you how many of my characters signed on with the Companions until they learned their little secret. I think it's great that you don't have to become one just to get the best starter steel in the game. (Including the Wolf Armor, a full suit with a SFSGS=49 weight points, which is pretty damned good for HA/2H.)
And like Vaz said, there's no conflict killing the enemy, taking their stuff, and using it to kill more of them bastards.

This build is pretty bad ass, and it taught me something new about game mechanics. I had no idea you could steal ownership of a zombie from another caster.

Yeah it's a pretty cool effect, very satisfying if you get the chance to use it...
Serana often works against you if you're running necromancy because she spams zombies, so I often revoke her creations to keep my conjuration up...
