Character Build: The Heretic

My o.c.d. is going to pretend you didn't say that...

Are you planning on posting more on this build? Something about some potions?

Mason, by far, this my favorite build from you. This character kinda reminded me of Christoph, the main character of Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption, a noble hero who used darkness for the sake of good in a gothic like game. Except, unlike Christoph, this guy is not a vampire. Badass for using robes.

Yeah, I've got more to add...

Basically he runs a very specific potion stack to buff up before big battles. Nothing complicated, I tried to make sure all his ingredients where easy to mass farm (without Hearthfire). No point in including 'human heart' recipes that can't be used often...

The thing I used to love about Clerics in d&d was chaining together 8-10 buffs and then wading into battle, I've tried to replicate that through alchemy with this build...

My hardware is down at the moment but I'll be up and running to finish him off soon...

    Thanks Chris,

The build does lean more towards RP, there isn't actually anything remarkable about his skills, no unusual synergies to be found anywhere, so I had to rely more on selling him as a character...

He's just good fun, you can start up Dawnguard and immediately feel like the dlc was made for you with characters like this...

    Looking forward to it!

Beautifully done, well presented, imaginitive and VERY creative. This character has deep role play that doesn't get too annoying.

I think I will play this character without the dawnguard rune shield and instead use a normal dawnguard shield or duel wield. I DESPISE the Dawnguard rune shield. It shortens shield charging time, and is very annoying with its stamina drain.

You could create an ' Ultimate sanctify that basicly uses everything in the sanctuary move but instead uses slow time, stability and an alteration potion as well as the destruction and resto potions and necromage.

Ultimate Sanctify + room of undead = hours of intense holy chaos.

I feel sorry for those undead.

Please do add apotion list that possibly does not use dlc stuff.

I have absoloutly no idea what the ingredients are for a resto, dest, conj and alter potion.

@ScoutMo you can use these links in the meantime:

Alchemy Effects - list of effects with corresponding ingredients

Alchemy Laboratory - wizard to create custom multiple effect recipes
