I love the feel of this literally epic warrior. I also appreciate the Beowulf tribute.
A couple years ago when I was learning Old English I had to translate the entire thing by hand, makes me shudder just thinking about it.

Thanks for the reply!
Archery could certainly be fitting - as when Beowulf approaches Grendel's mother's lair, he shoots one of the water-monsters at the lake.
As for the werewolf form, I have a hard time reconciling it with the fact that the Sovngarde mythos is so clearly inspired by Scandinavian Valhalla... it's true that there is no mention of any such place in 'Beowulf', but going man rather than monster seems to fit better than condemning yourself to Hircine's hunting grounds!
If they added a were-*bear* form, though, I would really have to reconsider...

excellent build england! good grammar, perk tree and RP! very polished and the formatting and presentation. This deserves to be in legendary were it is now! england you have made a build with two words to describe it:
Masterpiece and perfection! I wish the system allowed you to re hit the like button because this deserves them!

I joined to say thank you to Paul England for this build; I'm having a great time with it! I've done a sword and shield build in the past to recreate the Dovahkiin from the trailers (studded armour, iron helmet etc) but after the main quest was beaten he became redundant; I made the mistake of investing in Enchantment which really killed the game for me.
I like loot, what can I say?
With this build the strength is in the roleplay. At first I was questioning the Speech skill tree but after getting good prices from the fairer sex and being able to pursuade just about everyone how right I am, I truly feel like a hero.
I wish there were a few more dark age looking armour sets to suit the build though. I'm going to see how the Dawnguard armour looks when combined with a steel helmet and scaled boots as they are quite basic looking.
I noticed that the Ancient Nord Battleaxe looks good for a two-handed approach. I think it's the closest thing to a Dane Axe in Skyrim but I still prefer the reccomended sword & board.
Anyway, thanks Paul for this build, it rocks!
Edit: Forgot to mention that I was totally inspired by your last picture to complete the "Lost to the Ages" quest and get the Aetherial Crown. Now I can justify not wearing a helmet on occasion.
