Alright, people. Here it is. Which one of the great houses is your favourite? Why? And which one deserves to meet quick end by your sword or spell and why? Which one has the best beliefs? Come on, guys. I want to see some heated arguments why your favourite House is superior and everybody else are just stupid maggots which should by crushed under your heel.

While I mentioned only those Houses that are joinable in game, you´re allowed to talk about other Houses too.

I have always loved great house telvanni while i loved Hlaalu and Redoran Telvanni is the best.

Now for the reasons

The first thing that drew me to Telvanni were there towers i love those things.

The Next thing is there magic i love magic.

And Finaly Divayth fyr he has a dwarf in his basement

Now as someone who loves a good debate this seems pointless. Telvanni win, reason Neloth...Everyone can go home. Come on try and argue against Neloth, I dare you.

Alright other then the fact that Neloth I'm not generally a fan of House Telvanni. My personal favorite was always Redoran and I think that Dragonborn (the DLC, not me) really helped cement that in my mind.

To me House Redoran simply seems the most honorable. We all know that Telvanni are just out for power (they don't hide the fact) and the the Hlaalu just want that sweet loot. House Redoran seems to have Morrowind's best interests at heart in a kind of genuine way. But they balance it with awesomeness and not being too goody-two-shoes.

As Elysium once said, Telvanni are bat-shit crazy. It might be the reason why so many people (me included) like Telvanni so much. They don´t give a crap about most of the things, their magic research is always foremost. But they´re also dangerous and someone could say vile. They use slaves, don´t give a crap if they have vampires in their House and other stuff. They just don´t give a shit.

Thee Redoran concept is really close to Samurais, and that is certainly badass. But I might be the only weird guy here, but I dislike Japan, samurais, ninjas, katanas and everything related to that. I think I´ve never joined House Redoran because of that.

House Hlaalu is in my opinion the least interesting, but what I always liked about them how they used the opportunity of trading with Empire to rise in power. That deserves respect, even while other Houses despises them because of trading with outlanders, but from my point of view, I can relate with Hlaalu the most. It just makes sense to improve the economy by trading with your neighbor (who pretty much occupies your land, so why the heck not?)

True. House Hlaalu has a perv as a leader...

But that´s another interesting thing about House Hlaalu. Like most of the Dunmer, they actually welcomes other races with open arms, Curio as head of the House Hlaalu certainly proves that.
