Would anyone be interested in an event where experienced builders collaborated with people who have yet to post a build or got their build deleted through a Deathmatch? It would potentially be an interesting learning experience for everyone involved. Also, it might make collaborations among new builders more frequent which would could result in better first-time builds.
Idea came to me as soon as I woke up this morning for some reason.

I never said that it was a rare thing for a new builder to get helped by experienced builders, but we still see first-time builds that don't look well. If both an experienced builder and a new builder worked just about equally on a build, (would be a good idea if the experienced builder reviewed the work of the new builder and gave tips on how to fix that work) I think this would be extremely beneficial to the new builder. Even if this idea doesn't become an event, perhaps we should work on ways of promoting things like this. This was just my idea on one of the solutions to the problem. This would give the topic more attention.
Thank you for the feedback, Ben.

I'm going to veto this idea for an Event, too.
Largely because when a less than spectacular build is posted, it's inevitable that someone experienced will give an indepth explanation of what's not quite on point and offer more extensive help. I'm almost sure it's also listed on one of the CB Resources and this is what the Buddy System is about.

First and foremost, thanks for the criticism. You both have valid points, so I submit. Seemed like a good idea at first, but I can see now why it wouldn't work. I enjoyed the discussion, and will probably let ideas like these simmer in my head before posting them.
P.S. I think I inadvertently revived the Suggestion Box (last reply before today was on April 30th).

While new/inexperienced builders can and should get help from more experienced builders, I don't think we need to dedicate an event to it. New builders should ask around for help if/when they need it.
