And here lies the bloodied battlefield that stretches further than the sharpest eyes can see, where the dregs of the Bloodworks limp forward for retirement and greater works summon their courage and move on to the next challenge ahead.
Welcome to my forgotten wasteland. Welcome to the rank of Recognized. Having passed through the war of the Bloodworks, many builds retire here while others still reach for the splendor of higher ranks. Surviving the Bloodworks is no mean feat, however, as many more are slain or are never to be posted. Here, there is always the hope to move onwards. Many spectacular builds languish here, bereft of their initial excitement and hype, never to be heard from again, another tired soldier on the battlefield.
This discussion is yours to discuss builds currently in the Recognized rank, as well as the Event Recognized rank. Whether you would like to draw attention to one on its way out or a call for assistance to one that needs work.
On occasion, I will choose a few builds of this rank to highlight, builds that have the potential to move on up to Exemplar or even higher.
Tips & Assistance
For any who wish it, I will offer my services as a mentor to discuss with you and help improve your build so it may reach a higher rank. Other veteran builders are likely to help if asked.
For all your art needs, from topical, unique pictures to perkspreads, help can be found in the Art Group's various request pages, such as this one.
The Resources Page has its own collection of articles that may prove useful, from pointing out common flaws in builds to involving roleplay or unusual combat mechanics.
Mechanics can be smoothed out by asking a question in the Tips and Tricks question page or the Character Building Helpdesk.
A beautifully presented build by Plunders-the-Mountains. The Chancer is a whimsical rogue blessed with the power of Sai, a minor deity, seldom mentioned in lore, who represents luck and bountiful fortune.
In keeping with the theme of luck, the Chancer's offense relies almost entirely on unpredictable, yet powerful weapons and enchantments that only the luckiest of wielders will get the most out of. The end result is a highly enjoyable play through for you, and a terrifyingly unpredictable adversary for your enemies.
Made by longtime contributor David Okine, the Daggerfall Archer was inspired by the ESO Breton archer as a powerful, stealthy, cold and calculating agent of the King of High Rock. With some juicy roleplay and satisfying thief-warrior combat, the Daggerfall Archer infiltrates Skyrim for the benefit of the dangerous Bretons.

Yes, let the Z flow through you.
Looks good, Ely. It's an absolute travesty that the Way-Maker is still in this category. It should be Mythic at the very least....

In many ways you have the hardest rank here Elysium...
Many of the builds here just couldn't be killed in a deathmatch due to the initial effort that went into them, it would have been unfair...so they earned the right to stay but not to be loved, which is almost worse than the Bloodworks in some ways.
More than any other rank you're going to have to push at your weekly features more to get the forgotten ....well....'recognized'. Active noobs that do make it here should probably be prioritized to get them out into Exemplar if they're willing to work...
Tough job, glad I'm retired...
(also your rank emblem above has been updated - no feathers)

You may also feel inclined to swing the axe on a few of the more clearly neglected pieces here Elysium. Know that you have my full support if you do though of course I'm not speaking for everyone...
(just grease your axe and do it really quietly, nobody ever notices I promise you)

Recognized really is an ironic name for the category, isn't it? At least we enjoy the blood spilled in the Bloodworks. For the most part, great builds in Recognized pass by and are... unrecognizable.
Oops, I forgot to take the new emblem. Thanks for all the work you've helped put into this little project.
I first wanted to go for some builders and active fixtures of the site, builds that no one believes are still in Recognized. I'll be finding some newbs next Monday.
