    Yo Recognised Category.

I've decided to focus on my Shadow-Guard as something that can really be improved and I'd like some opinions on how I should do that. I've got a post for it in the Workshop to get advice but I might as well double the possibility of advice.

Personally this is one of my favorite builds but also the one that can be improved the most. The idea of a Heavily Armed and Armoured Warrior/Assassin who uses the Shadow Stone to remain unseen is pretty cool.

Anyway, I'm mainly trying to figure out what I can do to make the Gameplay more interesting.

    Yo Deeb

...I'll leave a comment over on your WiP page.

I've polished up my Night Angel build and fixed a lot of formatting, lore, and perk issues that were lingering about.  I'd appreciate any feedback on it, and of course I'm hoping this revision will spur some more interest in the build.

I would like some feed back on my event build, He Who Wanders. I think I made a huge leap forward from my first build The Pale Lord.

Even though I am very proud of my most recent one I would still like to do better, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is a good build in my opinion, the only thing I would say I didn't like is talking about the same thing more than once. (I'm guilty of the same). I am specifically referring to where you discuss pickpocketing as a skill, then in "other useful skills" you basically say the same thing you just call it reverse pickpocketing. Otherwise great build so I gave it my +1

If you have both I will take them. Your advice on build one helped me a lot.

First off, that's a bitching head image.

Second, there are some parts that could be tightened up. For instance, we know what effects Shrouded Armor and Nightingale gear have, as well as the artifacts. Think of your audience and focus on what they know, then cut out anything you've repeated.

That said, there are some mechanics you may have missed. Since you take Alchemy to max, you can take a Fortify Restoration potion before selecting the Atronach to give yourself a passive 100% Spell Absorb, -100% Magicka Regen (which might've been why you didn't), but Alteration feels a bit out of place. I notice a lot of builders tack it on for either the Atronach perk or Magic Resist perks. As a mostly sneaky character, high AR isn't really needed and the Ancient/Shrouded Armor as well as Nightingale are fairly high AR to begin with.

The build idea is a good one and I like the variances on "gas" bombs and gadgets. It's pretty neat.

Since this character isn't an archer, mentioning sneak archery and how easy it is to kill things without perks cheapens the build, because that's such a cheap tactic and takes away from the cool stuff that this character actually does.

I'm thinking my way through a major reformatting now, keeping in mind what you've mentioned.  I am hesitant to remove the alteration tree though, because the paralyze spells were quite useful, and the utility of water breathing/light spells/etc.. are something that was just incredibly hard to part with.  I know many of those effects can be replicated with poisons, but some are completely unique, like mass paralysis, and Dragonhide is damn near mandatory vs Elder Dragons and above to avoid getting one-shot.

I could perhaps try to work more of those abilities into the description to make it feel less "tacked on"

What can I do to fix this build?

People like simple builds. Short, with little mucking around with spells, high-level quests or top-tier perks, and little to no grinding. I like builds like that, too, but there's a limit here, a cap since you only have 3 skills and your final perk listing is under level 30. This will innately be a turn off, but add that to the fact that there isn't a main focus of this build and it feels somehow incomplete.

Investigate the actual power of Longhammer. I don't know much about it, but I remember this buzz surrounded its speed as a two-hander, that it was pretty powerful. Ask around in Tips & Tricks and then rewrite parts of the build to create this concept and focus. Without such a focus, it's just a simple warhammer-wielding Orc with a temper problem.

Otherwise, everything looks fine. Your writing style, pictures, presentation, and character are all solid, it just feels a bit sloppy.
