I love skyrim to bits, and the game is probably my favourite of all time however it's impossible to make perfection.
The main problems I see with the game is the manner of the levelling up system and balancing issues.
The main problem with the levelling system is say you decide a build before you start and you choose 6 main skills for your character. So you play through the game and there is certain perks you want to get in these skill tree's. Eventually the skills you choose for your build have all reached level 100 but you still don't have the perks needed to finish your build, therefore the only way to get the levels up to get more perk points to finish your build is by using different skills. This is a bad thing as you made that character to have a certain play style therefore forcing you to adopt a new one which might also effect any roleplaying your doing with that character. Also by the time you are level 100 in your main skills you're a rather high level so you would then be forced to use something that you've got no skill or perks in against high level enemies which makes things a lot harder to play.
the problem with balancing is that on master difficulty on really high levels it is almost impossible to play a warrior type character without during a fight having to run away from the enemy and using healing spells or using potions meaning that for a warrior you are forced to use magic and enchantments and exploits to play. This is why I don't play on master as I can't play a warrior character and magic and stealth users are far more powerful than melee builds.
Also the difficulty system in the game is poorly integrated, as I mentioned before it forces you to play in certain ways on high difficulty. but also there idea of difficulty is bad as it is just enemy take more hits, you take less. this is not fun or challenging as enemies just become damage sponges and you just have to stand there for a longer time hitting them. the difficulty should be that the A.I. become more intelligent and adapt to cover their own and allies weaknesses whilst try to exploit you weaknesses. the AI.'s should have group mechanics where they work together rather than it just being a crowd of individual attacking. Rarity of gold and high level loot should be put into high levels of difficulty forcing players to use money and resources wisely. Last of all there should be a survival type system put in the similar to the fallout new vegas system but better utilized and that would give the food and cooking system in the game a better use.
over all skyrim is a modern day classic and we will look back to it in the future and think of how great and revolutionary it was. but these flaws stifle it from achieving perfection. However it's not going to so me playing and enjoying it
